I would just like to thank you for your continuous work on this mod. TC1 was good, TC2 was better, and now TC3 is looking to be the best version yet. Good job! Looking forward to the next update.

I've been unable to get this to work. What am I missing?
You probably either have not installed it correctly, for example extracting TC3 and putting it in minecraft.jar, or did not install Forge.
That's basically it. Farms, Maybe building temporary shelters, or even covering lava. You could also use dirt for decor, like gardens in/outside/near your house.

I would like to share an idea with you lot:
I have just upgraded to 1.5. And I thought, 'Gee, this is really boring.' So I had an idea.
What if, when you clicked Update Now, or whatever it says, it has an animation. I sparks into flames. The screen goes blank. Then, a few purple sparks appear at the left of the screen. Then, they light into a flame. Dirt-with-grass letters saying "Downloading minecraft..." appear at the top. The purple flame represents the loading bar, and when it reaches the end, it goes out, as if it were blown by the wind. Then, a small white diamond of light appears in the middle. It very slowly expands, and then explodes to fill the page with the minecraft title screen, saying 'Mojang AB' with the normal title screen, maybe tweaked. I then resumes to the normal menu. This could be applied to normal starting up, maybe with only the white diamond bit onward. This wold be a nice addition to minecraft, just making things look cooler and smoother. This is only a mod idea. I am terrible at anything to do with modding. I am only good at installing mods, which soon hopefully will not be needed. Please give constructive criticism in replies. Thanks.
Hey guys, has anyone read the 100 Cupboards trilogy? Well I have and I thought it would be pretty cool to put this stuff into Minecraft. in the books, Henry finds cupboards that are like portals to different places in his uncle's attic. An evil witch comes through one and tastes Henry's blood from a cut and Henry unknowingly gives her enough power from his blood to escape her prison. In the second book he finds a fiery-glowing dandelion that strikes him with lightning and gives him Second Sight and cool powers. It could be cool to find a thing (rose, dandelion, oak, birch, spruce, jungle, vines, melon, pumpkin, wheat, grass, tall grass,) or other green plants. so, Steve is a 7th born, a pauper son, and one day in his travels will find a glowing block (any blocks I mentioned) glowing red/yellow with fire, or green with wood, or orange with pumpkin and light green & green for melons. Once you start mining the block you will get struck near you with lightning, scarring & burning your hand. You are blind and nauseous for 1 day, then when you go to sleep/the sun rises you can see the sun rising and then everything else slowly goes into focus. If you look at your hand (hold nothing in your equipped part of the hot bar) you will see a burn, but you cannot look at it for more than 5 seconds or you start hurting.
You can now activate Second Sight with U, and it toggles on and off. But you cannot look for long or else you get slowly damaged. You can see everything in words and rushes of colour when you look at them with 2nd Sight. It the gives you ten days to prepare then the witch will come. In the meanwhile you can hit C to try to do something with your hand. IF you do something and have a book & quill in your inventory, it turns the book into a Book of Power that records all your things you can do and lets you select one to use when you press C. If you have nothing selected, it experiments with different things.
Well, that's about all I can think of. You might also be able to have faeren mounds really well hidden in different places, but they open up for pauper sons. Please leave a few suggestions if you like the books.
