I would suggest that you remove the minecraft.exe from the nvidia program settings. And the most important thing, make sure that your global settings are set to default, especially Antialiasing-Mode to "Application Controlled"
I tested this on my brothers PC with nvidia hardware.

    Yes, a screenshot would help.

...maybe this "fix" only works with ATI. Although I really don't think so...let's see then :smile.gif:

Okay, I was able to reproduce this glitch/bug/issue/...whatever; I just turned Anti-Aliasing and Anisotropic-Filtering in the Catalyst Control Center (note that I'm on ATI/Amd graphics) on... so it definitely has something to do with these settings.
Do you have nvidia or ati?

Maybe you also need to set the 3D render options in your control panel to "Application controled", or something like that.

Tried to open my storage chest while holding a bucket of lava.

Same here, luckily my chest didn't get destroyed and I was able to remove the lava.

dumbest thing ever; a few blocks away from my door I built a furnace and was smelting some ores (note that it was night), I was watching the smelting progress and was happy about how much iron I got :wink.gif:....then I heard someone :Skeleton: shooting arrows in my direction, I turned around, saw a crazy jumping skeleton in front of my door, panicked *arrow hit* *arrow hit* *dead* :sad.gif:

Turn off "FSAA (anti-aliasing)" and "anisotropic filter" in the control panel of your video card driver.

Or maybe your graphics card drivers?

Yap, I also think it's a driver related issue, try installing the latest graphics driver for your video card.
