@reymas
True, but wouldn't Bethesda have to trademarke every single word in "The Elder Scrolls" individually for it to be legitimate?

Open it with MS Word.
Everything after the equal sign needs to be translated.
Here an example, translation part is blue here.
menu.singleplayer=Singleplayer
menu.multiplayer=Multiplayer

EDIT: Damn, while I was writing this you updated the first page. Sorry.
Well, I'll have a look into the .lang file then.
I've read every German translation in this topic and consolidated them.
Credits for the original translation and correction goes to Fluffy Tiger Plushie, Aron, Nerran, Schindel, Damarus, MeddlMoe, Shahoo, HawkSeraph, burgi007, Sandman, piccobello, BeatFuchs, Phant0m_, Zanktus, MuLtiVaN, TheSuperyoshi, Tako, Elelish, svelle, Tisuchan, magiAkira, Shadewalkerz, pascaldoherty
I found a good explanation of the used words and what they're actually representing in the game:

Actually you can definitely see the cape on pic 2-4, and if you look carefull enough you're even able to see it on the first pic.

Just use the link I posted above.
@MKU
about the "Ninja" thing; I don't know how to explain it cause english isn't my first language.
Maybe someone else can explain it in a proper way.

Suddenly there had been a lot of articles about Minecraft in gaming-magazines and I thought, "What is this game all about"
So I started to play the Classic mode, but it didn't quite satisfy me. Then I heard something about Minecraft Alpha, which is a survival mode or something like this.
I couldn't resist and I bought it, not because I thought it is gonna be awesome, but because I was so curious; it was a mystery to me.
After playing a few hours or so, I kinda liked it. (it was ver. Alpha 1.1.2_01)
Now I can say that this has been my best purchase of a game so far. I adore it.
...and I also got my brother to buy it. He also loves it.
"So much write and no play makes me a dull boy."

Browsing through the minecraft folder I found something (ambient releated?), don't know if it's old news.
In C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\resources\sound\loop there seems to be some kind of ambient sounds, I've never heard them in game though.
