@reymas
True, but wouldn't Bethesda have to trademarke every single word in "The Elder Scrolls" individually for it to be legitimate?

What I don't like is that the bar drains very fast when jumping, and since you are jumping the most of the time (climbing hills etc.) it's sort of unbalanced.
But in general I like the hunger bar more than I dislike it.

Probably because of your texture pack?

And I really like the void fog btw. :wink.gif:

You got a point there.
I see it this way, the hunger bar is a great addition to Minecraft, also for fighting mobs and for "normal" pvp on a random server (i.e. killing only one guy, etc.). But I understand why it could be troublesome for a pvp only server.
You have to admit though that these Quake like fights weren't intented for Minecraft, they just happened, like "Spleef". So it's only reasonable that Notch won't bother if it breaks this sort of playstyle, maybe he should though, I don't know.

Damn, I thought the persistent mob thing was pushed back and will be released with 1.9. That explains why there are no animals around my hosue :dry.gif:

Oh, my bad, thanks for clarifying. They just looked similar to me.

For example, the rotten flesh is just a re-skinned sugar cane.

They should definitely spawn more than once, infinitely. But they should be rare, more rare than the normal dungeons, maybe even more rare than a golden apple.
Notch sees them as a sort of final battle, the "winning" thing he was talking about.
I don't know if it is really going to be like that, so I won't complain too much.

Right, but since they are adding volcanos in 1.9, which I think will alter the terrain generator, there will probably be chunk errors.
Just a guess though.
