I can't believe you are making people pay for the server files, that's absolutely absurd and just wrong. Why make the people who play with friends pay but make the people without not pay? dumb
So me and my friend were trying this, and we found a workaround for the issues with connecting to lan worlds, This was the failed to connect even though you can see the game on the lan worlds list. Have the person who is publishing give the port and ip to the other person and connect as if it was a normal server. It worked for us at least.
So shortly after we got this working we had him try to host instead of me and it doesn't work so try both ways if you have problems
