hey 4j, im not gonna explain why just go on youtube and watch drewsmcs video called "more new minecraft mini games" and that should convince you to keep making updates for the xbox 360 and hopefully even the xbox one. please watch that video 4j.
Not necessarily, 4j simply can not have a build battle mini game on a console. Someone could build something inappropriate and the game can not do anything about it. Also, Why would they make a mini game they can't make any money off of?
below are some of the most popular mini games all of which should be on console
Paintball: there are 2 teams. each player has snowballs which they throw at other payers, 4 hits and u die. u also get 1 splash potion of water which heals u or other people. also when people die the red body stays there o u can revive the player with you water. last team left wins.
Skywars: hard to explain go on youtube or a server.
Bedwars: go on youtube or hypixel.
Build battle: everyone build the assigned object. everyone builds the same thing and later u vote.
Well they could add some more but, as mc4eva said it would kinda go against the purpose of minecraft. However I still think that they could make one or two more if they ever added a new world.

4 block hunt: I've seen this a bit more than paintball, i don't really want this but a lot of other people do.

2 Bedwars: a bit more people want this than build battle. This is wanted by so much people.
1 skywars: more than half of the community wants this. This game must be on console.
a mini game where you race other players on foot with checkpoints. in the selected map. there is parkour, speed boosts, splash potions, TNT, skeletons with bows that hit you back really far and more. there could be maps like volcano or Temple.

bedwar and skywars are by far the most requested mini games. put them on console. skywars isn't that hard and bewares shouldn't be too hard.
