Basically, it wasn't zipping the file quite right, but I never noticed because I always unzipped my test packs while working on it to check what was inside. I've fixed the problem and deployed a new version of the customizer, so it should all be working now. However, if you don't want to redo your custom pack selections, you can just unzip the one you already have and place the folder inside it in your resourcepacks and that should work. But any new packs you make will work now without being unzipped.

As always I love the wolfhound textures! I usually stick with Fantasy version but wanted to try out the custmizer since there's so many textures!

But maybe I'm doing something wrong because once I run minecraft and try to change to the new custom version, there's no file to choose. But if I open the resourcepack section on my computer, I can see the file. All your original packs show up fine.

I thought I was following the instructions, I clicked the link on the front page to open up the custmizer. I went through and chose the texture I wanted for each item/block/etc. When finished I clicked the create now and downloaded the zipped file and placed it in the resourcepack section. But minecraft doesn't show it as an option when I go to the settings.

Any ideas? Thanks either way.

I added some images, probably not helpful as I didn't get an errors.

Also, maybe try updating Optifine to the latest version, I seem to recall the problem was with Optifine.
I could be wrong though.

I haven't played minecraft in a very long time.
Today when I finally was, I noticed that the glass blocks are solid white colour instead of clear. I took off wolfhound fantasy pack and the blocks are fine, I've used optifine and mcpatcher with wolfhound fantasy and there's no change. :/
Any suggestions?
