I think Creative's inventory should be normal, just with a search bar at the top.

As an avid user of redstone, I completely disagree. The categories make it much easier, and you have a search bar as well.

posted a message on does notch actually exist?
Ok guys. Stop taking this as a joke. Some of this stuff is very close to solid evidence for the non-existence of Notch. For one, when people say that they saw Notch at PAX, that could be a case of crowd psychology, which is when one or two people in the crowd believe/seem to believe something (some hired people could have spread the idea), the rest of the crowd starts to believe. For example, no one could have even seen Notch, but they would all have believed that they saw him somewhere in the distance if a few people said that they did.

posted a message on Putting together coding team for coding custom server in Java
So yeah, like the title says, I'm putting together a coding team for a java custom server. I haven't even started yet but I do know java so I'l be able to help after learning how client-server communication works (from what I know, the packets have to be formatted the same, but anything that doesn't modify that will work as long as it doesn't require sending the client info that the already existing packets are unable to do). So, any volunteers?

Note: The name will be mc², as in minecraft to the second power, or minecraft squared, as it will be minecraft times better than minecraft already is :tongue.gif:.

    Team so far:

    iamjagman
    jca2323

EDIT: One thing that I would like to do is make a client mod to go along with this so that admins can have a special admin-gui or something like that. I think that would be possible, but maybe difficult (and it would only let you open the gui if you were an admin even if you had the client).

    Quote from Solrac97

Of course! This is also my favorite and the only sonic game that kept me entertained for years. And when you're not busy or when you want, we can start right away.

EDIT: I just got another idea, you remember the magic bracelet in sa2b? We could use that to carry animals and make them useable on chao :biggrin.gif:

Will definitely start on this as soon as I'm done with DreamCraft

EDIT: Just thought of something :biggrin.gif: This can work with all the customization easy! All I will have to do is make the model change depending on the values of certain "Bars" like bird (or whatever :tongue.gif:) will increase wing/flight value and once it gets to certain amount, they will get wings and be able to fly and stuff so the customization is alot easier :biggrin.gif: Was thinking I'd have to code each and every type of chao b4. Was freakin out.

posted a message on (REQ) Ragdoll mod, Can you make my dreams come true?
    Quote from DatDachshund

Ughh, you know. From legend of zelda. What is this world coming to?

I know right? The thing is, I feel like there WAS a mod for this, but it stopped updating. And the thing about it is, the only way lwjgl (the library minecraft runs on) can handle ragdoll (to my knowledge) is by making each section of the body a seperate part, but still hingin them together, then applying force to it depending on how it died (from the direction it died from) and that would be super complicated and laggy. So sorry, but I don't think this is possible unless you have a jesus computer (please excuse my religious connection there, I mean an amazing computer with a ton of ram and stuff).

    Also: Love your avatar :biggrin.gif:

Also #2: Erm, you DID spell it wrong. It's Rupee (plural Rupees) not Rupy (plural Rupys)

posted a message on [1.0.1] Lua for Minecraft | LuaServer
This is very interesting, but it seems that it would be better as a bukkit plugin and a lot more easy to install. As far as I can tell, every part of this plugin can be done with bukkit, and it could generate a second "luaplugins" folder so that you could have, well, lua plugins. Or you could just use the existing plugins folder for it, along with the regular java plugins.
