hey guys! lets start a massive flame wa-. oh, wait. you already have.

so wait, who is flaming who

I don't really see any flaming going on, just people arguing on the internet over something really stupid, which is kind of the same thing I guess.

    wall of text

    angry wall of text

I wish you would read my post again, you seem to have missed the point entirely and have become blinded with your own wild accusations and illogical beliefs.

Also, I totally respect and understand the reasons for you telling the world at large what to do:

Just because Notch acknowledges Thomas does not mean he's going to make a big deal out of it, and you shouldn't either

absolutely a good move in my perspective. I'm being completely earnest here.

It's not an angry wall of text, first off, It was intended to be frustrated, and the harsh language was to make my point stand out among the children who are just calling each other dumb. And, as well, you disregarded the whole point I made about "I'm not telling people what to do", because I didn't tell anyone what to do. I said that Notch acknowledged the sheep and that's all he did. He did not say he was going to put Thomas in the game in any way, shape or form other than a reference in the password to the SMP beta server. People keep needlessly assuming that Notch is going to take it further, and I'd rather have something important and useful than a religion about a sheep. I was saying that it'd probably in the best interest of both sides of this dumb, dumb argument to just drop it because Notch isn't going to put Thomas in the game either way. Personal preference does not mean that I can say I'm right and you're wrong, of course, but that was my point, I'm not telling anyone they're wrong in specific, I'm just saying everyone is wrong for arguing about a sheep.

The idea of devoting an ingame religion to Thomas is still just laughable. I honestly don't get how he's gotten such a following. I don't hate Thomas, I really don't, but I don't particularly want to shag and call him a god him like half the forum insists he is. I'm not ordering either side to stop because that'd make me sound like an idiot (case in point half the posts in this very thread) but really. It's a sheep. They die all the time. You have to beat them up to get wool from them. Just because Notch acknowledges Thomas does not mean he's going to make a big deal out of it, and you shouldn't either.

    To the naysayers of Thomas:

Stop trying to start a flame war; it's immensely unbecoming and really childish. People are allowed to do and say as they wish, and regardless of how much you whine and complain, you will never have power over someone else's free will.

Get a grip, people. It's all done for ENJOYMENT. These people people (the Thomites) are trying to ENJOY themselves. So what if it gets mentioned in your favorite threads? Heaven forbid someone says something not in line with your perfect world.

Seriously, get a life and post content on the forums or just get out. Any more of this bull!@#$ and a mod is going to step in and do something more drastic.

I feel the need to bring up this post from a few pages back because it's just laughable. Most of this thread has become "You hate Thomas you suck" and then consequently "You think Thomas is awesome you're an idiot" and other such nonsense, when neither group of people is right in the first place.

Posts like this one are completely ill-informed because while you are protecting Thomas you are being a hypocritical asshole. You tell people to stop saying Thomas sucks and let "Thomites" have their fun, but that's the whole problem. You're telling people that don't like Thomas to **** off just like they told YOU to **** off despite claiming you're a peaceful bunch of people and it doesn't solve anything.

Also, the rest of you do realize that animals don't drown, right? That means Thomas would have survived the mob harvester and been fine unless the OP of the thread was the one that killed him. Have fun arguing about that for a few pages.

Sheep also produce wool. Cows produce steak. Wool can be worn. Steak cannot be worn. Thus, sheep are superior. Therefore, Thomas is superior.

That's where you're wrong. Notch removed wool being used for cloth armor and made cow leather armor instead. So unfortunately for Thomas, wool cannot be worn and steak can, although it's technically leather hide.

thomas is better and you know it

    he's a sheep

there is no hierarchy of animals, they all drop something when you punch them to death
