Well, if you think creatively, you can look at a "blocky sandbox game" differently. It's not everyday we see enchanted tools and 3D space portals that lead to an ender dimension in a world of blocks. Point, though.
Well my friend and I were playing on a server together. He decided to build a fireplace in his wood house.
You can probably guess how that turned out.
After many futile attemps to put it out, he gave up. We sat there and watched as the sun began to set in the backround.
Then, a terrible thing happened.
My dog, Skip, charged into the burning house (I prefer to think he was saving my friends items so that he didn't die in vain). As he ran out burning, I tried to put him out with a bucket of water. But I accedently hit him!
As he took his last breath, he cocked his square head and let out a little yip.
I don't really like the boss ideas. No reason for it, I just don't.
I agree. I like the nether boss idea, but the other ones just arent in the spirit of Minecraft.
And mabye for the nether boss, instead of a Hellsnake (which sounds big and laggy) something like a pigman riding a ghast. He can control the Ghast to fly towards you and shoot multiple fireballs at once. And he could spawn more hostile pigmen on the ground for this fight.
I do agree, but considering how advanced Minecraft has become, it wouldn't really be a disturbance. Maybe the classic version could be jumped to alpha or something, i don't know. (I bought minecraft in Beta 1.3, so I never lived through alpha)

However, I do like the 2 block tall grass idea and the flower feilds.
I personaly am against any dialouge for villagers, but i think it would be nce if they were programed not to leave the gravel road and only go into others houses/farms. And mabye a very simple trading system like where you toss them an item and they give you something of equal or higher value.
Minecraft1.0.0 is a great seed! You spawn on an island with a few flowers, but only ONE tree. There's also some sugar cane, and in the distance, there's a desert island (Literally, it's a desert). The desert connects to...Well...You'll see for yourself.
I spawned in a swamp using Mnecraft1.0.0 Must've spelled it wrong.
Still its really cool! Whatever I did I started in the swamp with a mountain biome right next to me:) 2 visible caves, havent explored em yet.

I've tried out some seeds where you spawn on an island in the middle of nowhere. I was wondering if anyone had a LEGIT survival island seed. Not a happy lala land where its covered in grass and you have plenty of things to make food with. I mean like a hardcore deserted island. You spawn with limited dirt and just a single tree or two and the only way to survive is to dig deep into the depths of Minecraftia and prospect the riches hidden under layers of rock! If you know a good seed, post below.
