Minecraft World Records is an idea I have had for quite a while. It is bassicly like Guiness World Records but with the records being related to Minecraft. With out further ado lets swiftly move on to the rules and how to enter your record!
The Rules
1. Your attempt must be completed in Vannila Minecraft. You can not use any external tools to complete your record, be it OMEN, the WOM Client or a custom server.
2. To submit your entry you must include:
[*:14y9idoc]A video of your attempt or pictures of it during construction and after
[*:14y9idoc]2 or more witnesses with contact details. (email ect.)
3. Optionally, you can have a representitive view your record themselves. This will mean instant recognition for your record.
4. If you are found to have cheated your record will be removed and you will be banned from entering any further records.
5. You may compete as a team for team records
6. You must submit only your own attempts.
Submitting your Record
Option One:
Post a video of your doing the record / pictures
Post details of 2 or more witnesses
Option Two:
Contact me and we can arrange for me to set up and watch the attempt
Make sure you fill any special requirements.
After this the thread will be updated and a post made about your record breaking. Remember, the more evidence your provide to me, the faster I can verify your attempt. Optionally you can supply me with 1 image or video to display under the record

If you have any ideas for records that are not listed, feel free to post or pm me the details. That way as many people as possible can have records and there will be a larger variety of records.

When survival MP comes out my server will be communist only. Communism has never worked in the past in real life but if done correctly it would be bliss. Thus, why it has failed so far.
This is a nice guide, once I have finished my math homework I am going to write up a tutorial on farming and how to construct an easy to use farm, which reduces crop loss and is easily expanded.
The method I use, which is inspired by another post I saw is this:

This was taken about 2 hours ago so now the plot is bigger and there are alot more crops. I flattened a large inland grass area which I can use my hoe on to get seeds, which then turns back into grass for more seeds. Only problem is I have yet to find large quantaties of iron, so only a few of my tools are iron.
Farming is going to be awesome anyway. I love any game with farming in it and I love minecraft, this means on MP I can be a competitor in trade as I'm not to good a combat. Meaning I can stay on the surface and cater to my lovely crops, while still being a useable asset.

There is 8*14 = 112 dirt tiles in that picture.
