    Thank you I appreciate that. Giving the end user the ability to configure the mod to their liking if balance is in question is almost never a bad idea.

    Since the changes KL made gold is the only ore worth putting in the smelter. When you look at what it costs to make sand (even using extruder/pulverizer look at the energy cost) the induction smelter is no bargain.I agree the smelter was a bit op when you got tons of slag and you could pulverize and smelt ingots over and over but as it is now the smelter is not worth the trouble unless you like rock wool for some reason.


    We want the macerator recipes disabled. I don't know what kind of setup you got going, but sand is essentially free if you know what your doing, and its not like you need a whole ton of it. I really think your not exactly sure what I'm talking about seeing as how you keep mentioning the pulverizer and regular slag, which has nothing to do with what I mentioned.

    Your forgetting you have a 10% chance to get rich slag back of every nether ore you put in the induction smelter. Besides, uranium is supposed to be rare and your essentially letting people quadruple uranium from a single ore. While rich slag may not be all too common, it for sure is not rare or hard to obtain in any sense. And no, the induction smelter is not working as intended with your mod. The induction smelter gives you double or triple INGOTS which you cannot then take and multiply again, like you can when you get ore in return. I am baffled by the fact how you are not seeing the problem here, I tend to have a good sense of balance and I'm telling you this is not balanced in any sense. Short of completely nerfing all of the spawn rates of your ores, your not giving people any option to disable this exploit, and yes it is an exploit.

    Hey powercrystal, you really should add a config to disable the ability to use nether ores in Thermal Expansion's Induction Smelter. You can duplicate any ore in it which is really overpowered, and even makes the ability to disable the maceration completely useless since the end result is almost identical.

    1 Iron nether ore > induction smelter + rich slag = 2 Iron ore > macerator = 4 iron dust
    1 Uranium nether ore > induction smelter + rich slag = 2 Uranium ore

    Really overpowered, please fix this.

    You must have changed something from v2.2 to v2.2a which requires the latest stable forge for MC v1.2.5.
    I'm no expert but I'm pretty sure that means your mod is trying to reference a hook in forge which does not exist.

    I'll try with Forge v3.3.8.171 and pray my server doesn't explode in the process.

    Edit: Don't seem to have any luck, same error. The odd thing is I tried to use v2.2 with the new config on both #152 and #171 and I got the same error, some of my mods don't seem to like #171 anyway... I'll just stick with my last known stable configuration and wait for everything to update to 1.3.2 I guess.

    Anyone else having problems with getting the crossed textures to intersect in the middle and not off to the side? I've tried just about everything and I can't get it to work. I'm starting to suspect that these texture slots are only designed to be used with textures which have the same dimension as a torch.




    I have a question for you MindKrafter, do you have a built v2.2 config? If you do, can you paste it on the thread here? I would like to reference it so I can get things going, if not don't worry about it.

    Those are some nice additions you've made, I was gone for just over a week and was surprised at all the new stuff, you always outdo yourself :P
    On another note, after many, many hours, I have converted my old texture pack to the new format, and have carefully upscaled and modified a lot of your new textures to 32x, and downscaled some of the high res textures created by other people. A lot of it turned out quite nice, but there are a few more tweaks I need to do before I upload it.

    The liquids are working great now, buckets work, recipes show up, all is well! Really impressed how you handled all of that mess I discovered. +1!

    One small bug of note, don't feel rushed to fix it. When I craft the buckets they seem to return a empty bucket as well as the proper liquid bucket. Probably has something to do with the recipe using water buckets and thinks the bucket is going to be consumed in the process, thus returning the empty bucket.

    Like I said, you've done so much already, don't feel rushed to fix this tiny bug! Just add it to your list for your next update :P

    I found the mod causing the issue with the buckets not showing up, but in the process of doing so I've found yet another issue... This also happened before I removed the problem mod, but it just was just not as apparent because I could only see the blood bucket.

    Anyways, the mod preventing me from crafting and seeing the other 3 buckets is called Infitools

    Note: You only need to download Infitools, extract and use Infibase (required for Infitools) and Infitools Core.

    The second issue I am talking about is kind of shocking, and I don't think any of my other mods would be causing this. I'm a little confused as to why it is happening and I have no idea how to go about fixing it.

    You are right, not sure how that happened. I'll be making an updated version anyway, so I'll post a new link when I get that done.

    MindKrafter: The liquids are pretty cool, and you seemed to have fixed the issue I have reported, but... I'm afraid I'm having another issue. I don't know if its the ID's I am using or if one of the mods I am using is messing things up but, I can't seem to find any buckets other then the blood bucket. None of the recipes for liquids are working, and when I try to pick up blood with a bucket it gives me a water bucket. The same is true if I cheat in the other liquids and try to grab them with a bucket, except the toxic waste returns lava.

    Not sure what to suggest to you on this one, but I'll use alternate methods of obtaining the liquids for now. Thanks for all the development you've done thus far.

    I'm thinking you need to add ID cfg for flowing liquids, not just the stationary ones.
