Why us?: This looks to be the most well developed RP server I've seen in a long time.
Have you voted for us at Planet Minecraft?: Yes, but having to vote before I even enter seems odd.
Define Role-Playing in your words: Role-playing is the act of discovering a world through the eyes of a character you create and the day to day interactions with other such characters all within the realm of a world different than our own.
Define Meta-gaming in your words: Meta-gaming is the usage of RP information that you're character should not know or learned of while out of character, and using it in roleplay where it should not be.
Define Power-gaming in your words: Power-gaming, or god-modding, is roleplay that makes your character nearly invincible or makes it inherently easier for you to do actions on others, without giving them a chance to respond properly.

    IC:
    Name: Torlin
    Nickname: (Optional)
    Age: 30
    Gender: Male
    Race: Redguard
Appearance: Torlin is a Redguard of average height standing at a proud 6'. He has carmely, tanned skin and a well built body from his years of training with the sword, remarkably his skin is free of scars that would be featured on most other warriors of similar calibre. His sleek, black hair is well-maintained and kept short as to keep it away from his face during combat. Not one for extraneous wealth, or the attire of his people, he wears a modest white tunic and a pair of dark brown trousers, with his lifelong sword slung at his hip at all times.
Personality: Most would call him an introvert, but the truth of the matter is he just wishes to keep to himself. He does not make friends easily, and those that are his friends are more like family to him, earning his trust completely. He thinks himself to be an intellectual and enjoys discovering new things all across the places of Tamriel, and the cultures of the different races and locales. His respect for the sword is that of a warrior that has practiced at it for many years, and it shows through the cleanliness and well maintained shape of his longsword, never a knick on the blade nor a stain.
In-game RP Fight example: Torlin was wandering around a new city he had come across on his regular adventures. He knew not the name, but it was not like anywhere he had ever seen. The level of poverty in this city was staggering with filth lining up every street, the denizens eyed him and his cleanliness with both awe and maliciousness. He wandered through the streets hoping for a change in scenery and found none as he ventured through for hours.

He turned into a nearby alleyway, hoping it would cut through the city much quicker, but instead found himself face to face with the biggest man he ever laid eyes on."I'm just trying to get through.." he said to the large man, hoping he would let him through. The man did not budge but was staring past Torlin at something behind him. He whirled around and saw that the other end of the alleyway that a group of men were rushing straight for him. "Le's get im boys!" the one in front shouted, as they charged for Torlin with their swords unsheathed, ready for battle. Torlin quickly drew his sword and was quick to bash the giant man in the face with the hilt as he made a grab for him. The big man fell to the ground clutching at his face, blood gushing from his now broken nose. With the big man dealt with, Torlin could now focus on the group ahead of him. He raced quickly at them, noticing their sudden change in morale as they saw the big man on the ground, and even more confused to see that Torlin was coming AT them and not running AWAY. He lunged at the one in front, but the enemy was quick to deflect his sword with his own. He quickly pirouetted and began to swing and the one after the first. He was not so lucky, Torlin's sword cut him through the arm and down into the ribs. The others saw this and were quick to try and avenge their fallen comrade. These were amateurs, and he could sense it by the way they wildly swung their sword...(I'll end it here or this'll become a full fledged story XD )
Background: Torlin was born and raised, much like the rest of his fellow Redguard, in Hammerfell. From birth he was separated from his parents, destined to become a great warrior. He was raised instead by a group of swordsman who would become his mentors and tutors as he grew older, along with the many other similar boys and girls that were taken and cared for under the same circumstances. Knowing nothing else other than a life studying war and tactics, his sole mission in life, at first, was to become well-skilled at everything pertaining to the art of the sword. He trained day in and day out, year after year under the tutelage of the Redguards very best swordsman. He soon became well versed enough that he began to challenge them. At first he was met with loss after loss, but this only pushed him to train harder and harder. Soon he was able to reach victory, and one by one his tutors lost to him in during training. It was then that he decided, at the age of 20, he would venture the world challenging other warriors hoping to best them in battle.

Now at the age of 30, he continued that venture. Now he was now much wiser, no longer intent on being the best, so much as to learn the styles of all the races of the world. As he explored he grew interested in the cultures of the world and the people, the way the blacksmiths crafted their swords, and the very cities that crafted such people. It was this drive for knowledge that led him to hear of a place with unheard of people, wealth, and locales, Akavir they called it. It was with this that he ventured there by foot and horseback at first, through the wilderness and chaos of the world of Tamriel riding on with the hope of seeing newer, grander things that he could use to hone his skills further. Finally, he set sail on a merchant ship from the eastern most port of Tamriel, towards his final destination.

After a long journey across the oceans, today marks the day of his arrival...

Alright, I'll omit that one line that says "Soon no one in Hammerfell dared or was even interested in challenging him." Better?

Just to put reasoning behind it, when someone is as sheltered from everything but combat, its not all that surprising for one to gain extraordinary skills. I understand that it can be an easy place for potential godmodding(being overly powerful), but I assure you that was not the intent when I wrote it.

((The lore on this page http://elderscrolls....Redguard_(Race) lists them as a mighty race that specialize on war and violence, as well as being fierce. I have edited the "From birth.." part a bit to make more clear, but I do not see why they cannot be like the Spartans and train their young from a young age))

Hmm not sure if it's affecting everyone, but after the most recent update all I receive when I install the texture pack is a black screen after log in. Worked before, but now it won't T-T

Keep this project alive, it's the greatest!

Is the portal texture still broken?

Other than that AWSOME texture pack compilation, except I don't like the Creeper and Pig skin...
