Sep 28, 2011holydragonknight posted a message on 1.9 Updates: Old Score Gone, Experience Possible SubstituteUhh no it should not be like that for multiplayer at all. No one needs to be making tons of maps for their severs every time a group dies.Posted in: News

Jun 9, 2011holydragonknight posted a message on Minecraft Coming To Xbox Kinect This WinterConsidering how big this was to hear Minecraft going to the Xbox360 later this year, no one is going to read through 30+ pages of flaming and whining; people are going to want the whole forum to know just exactly how they feel and be damned if they can sit down and read more into the topic.Posted in: News

Jun 7, 2011holydragonknight posted a message on Minecraft Coming To Xbox Kinect This WinterOh no! The glorious PC master race is in danger of extinction because *gasp!* they have to share their game with console players!Posted in: News
But seriously, all I am seeing is whine whine whine, bad community, microsoft kills mod communities, notch sucks, whine whine whine. It's like, what, people jump in and throw out whatever is on their mind without taking the time to read anything posted already? All anyone is doing is regurgitating the same whining posts to the power of infinity. -
Jun 6, 2011holydragonknight posted a message on Minecraft Coming To Xbox Kinect This WinterHeh really? If Microsoft is so anti modding, Valve's games are doing just fine.Posted in: News

Jun 6, 2011holydragonknight posted a message on Minecraft Coming To Xbox Kinect This WinterKata, Team Fortress 2 (and also Left 4 Dead/2) on the 360 has long gaps between updates because Valve usually waits until they make several updates to the PC version first and then bundle all those updates as a single update on the console version due to what I think Microsoft generally not allowing or restricts constant patching/free DLCs. I think it is safe to assume that Minecraft would follow the same route so anyone who is worried that Minecraft will get less updates because it's being developed for the 360 need to chill and rethink things.Posted in: News

Jun 6, 2011holydragonknight posted a message on Minecraft Coming To Xbox Kinect This WinterIt's a damn shame to see how hateful a community can be to another one just because their beloved game is now on other platforms. Lemme address a few points:Posted in: News
*People think that Minecraft being on the Xbox360 will slow updates down? The Minecraft team can do what Valve does for their games; keep PC games updated as normal and Xbox360 updates come later in bigger chunks since Microsoft has some rules about free stuff and DLC.
*Griefers? EVERY game has em. End of story. Don't act like griefing is something exclusive to a platform or game.
*If you look at the major demographic for the Xbox360, do you really think those kind of people would be interested in a game like Minecraft? I'm predicting that only casual players will take a look at it so don't get your panties in a bunch that Minecraft is being invaded by Halo and CoD fanboys. - To post a comment, please login.

Then why have placeable torches at all?

That can happen but rarely. Mobs that spawn in peaceful mode are supposed to vanish instantly, but there's still enough time for a mob to do something right before the game deletes them from existence.

Oh shut up. Every other update people whine the game's getting easy, but it's still the same "creeper sneaks up behind you and pushes you off a cliff" that everyone loves. OH NO! I HAVE MORE PORKCHOPS! WHAT SHALL I DO!?!

Probably to prevent people from making the Ender Chest too easily every single time, considering how they keep items safe from anything. They are more of an emergency storage rather than place all your items in it and drag them anywhere you want and remove the need for a home base.

Then you could get whatever enchantments you want all the time.

It's the internet. People knee jerk to anything they find shocking and quickly hammer out their angry posts, not bothering to read 15 pages of posts before it.

Multiplayer is hardly THE future.
