Useless moderators are going to kick your useless ***
Useless moderators are useless. I could spam this entire forum and they wouldn't care.
That being said, seriously, most of you guys are acting as if you're spoiled, as if you have paid hey0 to do your job and you demand that he will release an update. Here's some information for you: he owes you nothing; not you, me, or anyone else, unless he absolutely promised to do so and there are enough witnesses to prove so.
I'm not saying he owes any of us anything, but he did set all of us up with excellent server software, and then just abandoned it, and he didn't just leave a few servers in the dust, he left a lot of them in the dust, because most of them depended on it.
I personally like playing SURVIVALmultiplayer, but there are 50+pages of complaints...
There are people who are working on unofficial updates as well. I could've updated it once more, but then the next update would destroy it again.
Someone is already making a replacement. Which shows how pathetic Hey0 is...
Take donations and run like a coward, what a lazy ****.
I am also not on the side of those who are grasping for hey0's **** to seem more like a team player. Most are Notch drones anyway. Hey0 could have released the souce code for those who have hey0 but instead forced people to use bukkit.
He lied and said that as soon as bukkit was released he would stop working on it, and instead cut and ran early with nothing for server owners to use.
Dunno what you're talking about considering my mod's been open-source since the start, and the source is bundled with each download. There's also my github (http://github.com/traitor/Minecraft-Server-Mod/) too. Now, that is true I lied about keeping hMod updated, but I was given false pretenses from the bukkit team that said they'd work on it.
Oh and those "someone" making a replacement (which I assume you're talking about bukkit) are the people who used to work on it. Unless you're talking about that MineKit guy.
I took off donations once I found out that all the people who were working on hMod went to make their own mod, because I knew that I wouldn't be able to keep it updated as I had no interest.
Jesus, you asked for donations, create a server mod that a good chunk of server admins rely on (I couldn't really care less about them, most are just autistic snotbags),single handedly create the most popular and well made server mod ever (and being only 15 I'd consider that a feat), and then stop due to lack of interest?
I'll admire that you stop when something stops becoming fun, but for ****s sake man, .genesis is right, it does really show your age.
I hope you plan on refunding everyone!
When did I ever ask for donations? When I was accepting donations, it was at the very bottom of my post. I, myself, never once asked for donations.
And I'm not just stopping because it's no longer fun, the people who were working on my mod are going on to create a better mod as well.
I HATE YOU HEY0 YOU ****ED EVERYONE UP! WHY DID YOU **** US UP!
TOOK OUR MONEY AND LEFT! **** YOU!
Yes. I physically took your money! It wasn't your choice or anything to give me your money as a donation, no-siree. Funny how you all go from crazy worshipping me to hating my guts in a matter of days. Never really liked this community.
And it's not like there's a better mod coming out soon either.
If someone makes a working hMod update and pull-requests it to my github there will be b134 (or Meaglin/whoever finishes it). That'll be the last build, and that's if someone does that.
Registered to say that hey0, you are a *****.
You're really showing your age. I hope if you're planning on continuing coding in life that it takes you no where and all your projects fail.
I dedicate this song to you.
Thanks for your contribution. Tell me, what was wrong with what I did? Stopping work on my own project? Yes, I fell back on a promise (because I was under the impression the bukkit team, the old hMod team, was going to keep hMod updated until bukkit was ready from what I heard), otherwise I would've announced hMod dead then and there.

Bukkit will be superseding hMod. Once Bukkit is ready, hMod will no longer be updated. I no longer have an interest in Minecraft, so this change is for the best. The hMod forum won't be deleted though, so you can keep posting and such, if you really want. It won't be very moderated though, since there'll be no point in doing so.
K so my previous host (which I've been using to manage my DNS records until I can switch domain registrars) was moving my (old) website to a new host, and switched all of my DNS records to the new host. I changed it so it'll display a message if you try to view hey0.net or forum.hey0.net.

Who said I did? Simply wanting to no longer work on it doesn't mean I hate it.
