Your world is boring because you spawned on a freaking plain not the generators fault and also my favorite biomes are mountainous and swamp biomes. For me I like bigger biomes and if you get lost in just put sand down so you remeber where to go. *thats what I do*
im on 1.8.1 and I havent had this dark glitch you guys are talking about but I would like to see this for myself so what do youi do for it to turn dark? or does it just do that randomly? If so I cant help because I dont have this problem. Also dont download Optifine I dont have it and thats just a waste of your time to download.
First of all I love minecraft and I think its not a RPG game because its missing all the things you just said and if that gets added then BOOM minecraft ends up as being a RPG and since minecraft is reletivly simple it will just be a crappy all ready done 1 thousand times game. Unlike how minecraft is now which is creative,fun,adventures,and combatic.
Also i remeber on Notches blog that he will add Adventure mode and if its like what you say then it will be a already done thing unless in adventure mode he does add a story *No retarded Quests* that actully is minecraft themed and is not RPG themed. Minecraft should stay special and not turn ordinary like WoW or those hundreds of other RPG games that are all the same thing.
If this was a mod then I would download it and finish the story then uninstall it but in the actual game well..... fricking no.
I want the desert to be more explorable because all it is, is sand,cactuses,dead saplings, and water holes. The Desert needs more stuff because right now it may be the biggest biome but its the most boring one.
Well i dont think he means like survival is gone. If you look at the picture you have hunger and health witch is part of how to stay alive minecraft still wants you to survive and be creative but it also wants to add the mmph so it doesnt get boring and thats what the adventure update is doing its adding that mmph.
Im okay with Permadeath and Hunger but not the EXP! *Minecrafters everywhere:GASP!*
Ya i know it sounds weird someone might not like EXP but i dont want EXP in minecraft because that doesnt really fit in with minecraft.I mean everything notch is doing in the adventure update is fine because minecraft still keeps its survival aspect still.But EXP? No offense but that just doesnt sound right with minecraft!
