I was playing on survival mode, peaceful setting, returning to my house after digging and collecting stuff in caves. I open my door and I see this:


I’ve done some goo explanation to such damaggling and the closeste seems to be lightning. But, according to minecraft wiki whenever I’m playing one easy or peaceful lightning cant cause fires. I’m not sure how this happened, so please look at the rest of the pics and try and see if you understand what happened.

Ok I am being as nice as I can saying, there is a more thought-out explanation for this. You vaguely said "It was in survival" not saying SMP nor SSP. Also does ANYONE go onto your minecraft account? I am just stating a prediction for real life purposes. Not glitches bugs or other in-game things. I just can't say this is 100% legit cause there is only pics and you were on peaceful. And just to finish off why was your axe down in uses? Please don't troll reply to this post.

Crazy I had the exact same problem as you. It all started on a survival island map and I opened a chest. "Saving Chunks" It always happened in SSP but not SMP. I never found a solution until I updated. Or that is what I remembered. Just try working around things in SSP. I hope this helps somehow.
