Interesting, BdoubleO100 made a video in his single player in which he changes up the rain as well. I'm gonna tweet him about it, I think this suggestion about the rain needs to be voiced a little better considering when ever the topic is brought up all players usually support the cause. I think it just has to do with the fact that players have gotten used to doing whatever they can to get rid of the rain sounds.
Lets be totally honest, the rain sound for Minecraft is absolutely ABSURD! The second it starts its like giant buckets of screaming water ripping through the sound barrier and slamming on the ground. It's basically useless in that every time a rain starts most players usually turn their particles off.
Now I thought that a few updates ago when Mojang was changing up a lot of the sounds that the first one they would change was this amateur and insanely loud and annoying rain sound, it's honestly as if all they did was take a bunch of rocks and throw them at a giant tin sheet. In real life rain is one of the most lovely of conditions, and I believe in Minecraft it should be anything like that.
Below is a resource pack (NOT MADE BY ME) that represents a rain sound that would most definitely help that atmosphere during a rainstorm in Minecraft.

No support. Fire aspect swords already cover any feature remotely close to yours. But I do think Fire aspect swords should have some kind of animation.
I'm sorry but these builds are extremely ordinary, I could have made these my first day playing Minecraft. I suggest taking a few months and studying the art of building in Minecraft before you start requesting money.
What good things have you built:I have built professionally for about 3 servers now, including many role play types. I was lead builder for an MMORPG styled server, I was in charge of building the spawn castle. (The second picture in the link.) I have been building and actively learning new ways as to building for about two years, however I first began playing when Minecraft first came out. LINK TO A FEW BUILDS
Have you been banned and what for: I'm not going to lie like most people do, when I first started playing I wasn't a good sport. I loved finding any way I could to cheat the game such as Xraying, modding, hacking ect. HOWEVER after getting banned several times I found that I didn't want to break the game like this anymore, I decided to apply for private servers similar to that of Mindcrack and also found my love for building and practicing builds. It was also at this same time that I began working for other servers and grew connections with coders, devs, Youtubers etc. and made it into the more advanced community of Minecraft. Understand that I no longer believe in cheating and would rather have nothing to do with it, it ruins the game and I don't understand why I ever did it in the first place.

Why do you want to join this server: I am really excited to start practicing western type builds and working with a team of people again, lately i've been laying a little low and playing on a private server. Though I'm excited to get back to producing!
Would you play on the server after helping building?: Of course! I love old westerns and always thought it would be really cool to have a roleplay server that specializes in this type of thing!
