I am running a private 1.7.2 bukkit server and everything is going good. But, mcmmo seems to be giving me, and me only, perks and multiplied experience. The perks make skills over powered and the extra experience is just unfair. I tried negating permissions and I have tried deop-ing myself and making myself not an admin as well, but nothing seems to work.
If anyone knows how to remedy this, please help!
(I am about to post this on the bukkit forums as well, the quicker this is solved, the quicker i can feel good again)
For drugsxl its just drugsxl.use.* and drugsxl.get.*
Literally thats it, but for some reason only ops can use drugsxl still. I checked in the GroupManager group.yml, and it shows that the Everyone rank has thos above mentioned permissions. I checked the bukkit page but didnt find any assistance.
Okay, so recently a friend of mine opened a server and through mcmyadmin, I have been managing the plugins and such. We are currently using CraftBukkit on 1.7.2 and Permissions are going through GroupManager. I have gotten Essentials and mcmmo to work perfectly for everyone, but drugsxl will not work for any non-ops. even with permissions for it starting at them.
Ops are able to use the plugin regardless of rank, and non-ops can see the plugin take effect in their hotbar, but cant actually use the plugin.
Ingame Name: guyy90 Age: 19 How long have you played Minecraft?:Since Mid-Alpha How did you find this thread?: Searching through MCForums led me here. What is the best thing you have ever built?: I would make a tie at a small trade town and three temples (both survival and both got added to lore on their respective servers). Why do you feel we should choose you to be whitelisted?: I get along quickly with people, I know how to be respectful, I always help where I can, and I do not cause issues where none are needed.
We've certainly got a nice set of regulars, and even the not so regulars are nice! The community is just one of the big things that can make us stand out.
Hey so I thought your skin idea would be cool so I tried it out.
Wonderful! There is only one thing extra I could ask. Would it be possible to make the hood look more like a lion? like some marks for eyes and ears or something to distinguish from just a regular fur hood. If not thats fine, but my god this is GREAT already.
Hi all,
I am looking for a very specific skin type. I wish I had the patience to make one myself, but sadly I do not. I come here asking if anyone can try making this skin for me. Multiple versions would be very welcomed.
Anyway, here is what I am looking for.
This first will be the skin I would like to be the base. Also, I am hoping for the skin to be a bit more pale, and the hair to be more blackish grey.
This second is what I want added. More specifically, a similar looking beard (if possible) and the lion hood with the arms wrapped forward and obviously acting as a cape on the back. If you can do the shirtless-ness Id approve, but a shirt/toga/tunic would also be acceptable.
Thank you to all and any who make me something. Your time and efforts are much appreciated!
This server is full of good players and people that will make your experience as fun as possible, with all the quests
Speaking of fun and quests, we are quickly approaching some new quests. Check out our website for more info, and jump in now while you still have time to get well armed!
As of Update 1.7.4, the server had a map reset. Much of the map has yet to be explored as of this post.
The server theme is Roman/Medieval and there is active lore that is constantly being created.
While a theme exists, we do not require that you follow it. Build in any style you like.
Website Update:
Hey everyone!
Things are so close to coming together. Big thanks again to Guyy90 (Our very first Admin!) who has been instrumental in getting things to where they are. So where are they?
Just around the corner.
Since the quests, lore, and certain other things are just around the corner, I thought I'd take this opportunity to refresh everyone on proper Quest etiquette, and some of the things that you may soon encounter in the world of Acheron's Code. A basic review of all the lore up to this point can be found in the tutorial room at spawn. A more complete review can also be found right here on the forums, under the "Lore" section. It's an interesting read, especially Guyy90's chronicle of Acheron's Rose.
But, let's begin shall we?
First, some basic rules for questing:
1. Don't put down other players. Quests are meant as a community activity, and while you may end of being the winner, so could a dozen other people, with as much claim to the prize as you. That being said, there's plenty of time for secrets, individual raiding parties, and more. We aim to please as many questing personalities as we can.
2. Most quests involve the server lore. This may seem like a strange rule, but basically what we're saying is that in most cases, a basic understanding of the server lore is necessary in order to understand the events. Sometimes clues can be found in previous quests. This is a very good reason to keep track of everything on the site forums. After all, that's what they're for! In the "Your Lore" section you can create a thread, speculate on the current quest, trade information, and more. Many of the quests lead to some kind of prize, especially longer ones, so it is definitely worth your time to test the waters on the forums.
3. Have fun! This is the most important aspect of the quests for this server. If no one has fun, what's the point? One thing many players enjoy doing is Role-playing. Anyone is welcome to do this, it basically only involves pretending that the world is real, and acting/speaking like it is in game.
Some tips of Questing:
- Bring good gear, but not gear that you would fret over if you lost. If you can afford a spare set of diamond gear, that is usually the safest bet. A good sword/bow/axe are also advised
- Stock up on potions, and wit. Quests are not built in a day, neither are they going to be over in a day. Potions are good helpers, and wit can be extremely useful in remembering useful Lore or solving any riddles and complex puzzles that may present themselves.
- Give it time. Quests are often slow to reveal, and the whims of players are likely to have us admins rushing back and forth. But you have other players! Like they say, two heads are better than one.
- Don't be afraid to take things in a new direction. If one approach has you, or your group stumped, try something new! Think about a riddle a new way, look around for buttons, switches, or other hints. If worst comes to worst, sometimes the Gods are willing to lend a push in the right direction.
- Keep notes. You have forums, use them
That's about it everyone! Good luck, and soon enough Happy Questing!
This server is fresh and thus far beautiful. I hope more people wanna join because a population would add some flavor to the mix. If you like great landscapes and lots of space, this is the server for you!

Check out that link. It is of a fresh server that is almost entirely vanilla with the exception of mcjobs and mcmmo, and a grief prevention.
Message the original person who made the post of that link and more than likely youll be on the server in no time!
Hope to see you there!!
