local weather seems to break with time speed mod, so if I se time to 12, the tornado becomes very sluggish and seems to break most effects too, I will ask there if he can do something also; may be when tornado begins, ts can be set to 1 until it ends
also, could zombie awareness optionally skip being applied in some mobs so this AI could also work toguether?

oh, and I use several game hardeners like IguanaTweaks, HungerOverhaul and Enviromine;
so I tought if the lantern could require refueling after a certain amount of game time ticks?
ok, glow stone is permanent; so may be the refueling and light level could be based on the fuel the lantern carries!
Download ShdersMod-mc1.4.6-ofuD5-1.44 from this thread and find the correct Optifine version for 1.4.6 and install. The Waving Plants shaderpacks work with any version of Minecraft.

do you think some mobs could use these weapons too? even an aimless zombie, some villagers, or some hunter could snipe us from far away hehe
also, they could get damaged, and if in low condition could have a chance to explode on our hands,
they could heat up and jam, also burn our hands forcing being dropped,
and when we get hit, they could get damaged also and even explode, even by an skelleton arrow!
randomly, plasma shots could start fire on ground
concentrating plasma shots on a single block could empower it and make it explode

what about, each time you hit, the zombie have a chance to get stunned and fall like a hagdoll for a few seconds?
could even create a low damage club that is intended to stun if hit head
