When resizing an image like the default textures, please set interpolation to 'none'. May also be 'nearest neighbor' depending on your program, either way it'll make it so that the results aren't an eyesore (or less, I suppose; after all we're all here to change the default textures). :smile.gif:
That's a screenshot from Dante80's Albion texture pack. It's one of the best texture packs in my opinion, but if you wanted you could just use the foliagecolor.png from the texture pack to achieve similar results. Either way, you think the screenshots look good, you'll find it breathtaking if you're anything like me.
I dunno, but I have seen zero peaceful mobs since I started a new world in 1.8 (I've been playing like two and a half hours). I'm out on an island in the middle of the ocean, perhaps it has to do with that you think?
That's the kind of thing that people with no minecraft problems say to people who have lots of minecraft problems.
I guarantee you would be whining if you couldn't play game that you paid $21 dollars for just because Notch removed a feature that could easily be put back in place.
If you wanted guarantees you shouldn't have bought a beta game.
I dunno, the dirt seems to have a certain sort of character to it; it wouldn't be for everyone but I'm not sure it needs to be redone, maybe just work on the pallet a little.
Strongholds are really...really...really rare and hard to find. They say there generates only one in the world. Dunno if there was some proove.
I'm sure they're just very rare, I highly doubt that the generator checks for strongholds over your full world every time the possibility of one appears.
On top of all that, the name Smoothcraft has certainly been used before. I searched it to see how much, and these packs were all on the first page of results using that name:
Well, it'd peeve me a bit if anything like that happened to something I'd made, but probably not enough to do much about it (maybe I'd send an email if it were an English site requesting credit). It's the internet, and while I don't want people taking credit for my work on a website I go on, some site I've never heard of and will never frequent? It doesn't really effect me, and there's no reason for it to seeing as it's out of my hands after I put it up.
Even if copyright infringement is illegal, I've never felt it to be particularly immoral, just a **** move if you claim credit for what you're distributing (this can usually include not giving credit, too, in most cases it's assumed you made something if you upload it without saying otherwise). I do take offense when someone tries to make money off of it, though.

Also, why would you recommend joining a server? It'd crash if you started up a furnace.

Most of the Daggerfall tiles were 64x64, man. :smile.gif:

No, his point is it's a bug in creative where things have infinite (or maybe it's just way large, I'm not sure) range.

So, y'know. You might want to pick a more original name (even if a less original one probably fits your pack better).
