wrong version of Property reader, to my knowledge djoslin has not yet updated to the newest version, the proper version for the mod can be found in the op .
Thank you.
Edit: I couldn't find property reader in the OP. Is it in one of the videos?
I have no idea why, but Minecraft fails to load after I install this mod. I have installed Modloader and Propertyreader, I deleted META-INF, and I even tried on a vanilla bin. I'm running Fedora 15 64-bit, using the official Sun (or is it Oracle now...) JRE, and when I launch it from terminal I get this to show:
There are mods where people have created portals to different worlds like planet x so there could be a portal to the chao garden
Now THAT sounds like a good idea. There would be the Chao garden built in the relative position of the portal and the new blocks would be generated in that world. Although adding a place similar to the Nether would be difficult...
What about dropping it, with "q"? We have pressure plates but the texture can't be changed, pressure plates use the same texture as stone. Can't have red stone everywhere.
There are wood pressure plates as well, and those use the same texture as wood.
I'm also going to repost this because I don't think anyone noticed it.
I'm not sure if this has been requested before, but can you make the companion cube hum when it's near you and/or in your inventory/hand?
Searching through a giant list would be annoying. Keep the idea in, but add in the ability to enter the IP. Also, when you create a server you should be able to make it private (keep it off the list). And would there be some way to save the settings after you close the server? It didn't look like it, but it could just be me being an idiot thinking it might not be like that. Also, I know I may be re-suggesting some ideas, but I'm probably not going to read all 13 pages. I might read some.
I'd like to see this done, but could it PLEASE not have blocks added to the generator? If you want to add craftable blocks from pre-existing blocks, go for it, but PLEASE don't add blocks to the generator. Maybe a new item that you get from mobs that you kill? And you could add to that and add new mobs that drop new items to make your chao change even more.

Is it too late to request a bed? If not, then possibly a variant? I was thinking that Modern Bed would look good in Minecraft. Oh, and I think it'd be funny to see either the G Logo or N Logo in the pack somewhere. :smile.gif:
The model I have is a 6500/275. Several years ago, I had opened it up to do who knows what to it. My particular computer did not have the ZIP drive in the uppermost bay, so there was an empty spot to connect another internal hard drive. The only problem is, that bay is 5.25", and the sled/carrier that fits there does not accommodate a 3.5" HDD. As a result, I always had to keep the computer "open", because there was no way to secure the HDD in that bay.
Now that I'm going to toy with it once again this summer, I've done some research on the internet and found that 3.5"-5.25" mounting brackets/adapters are available for accomplishing this. I don't know if the computer you got has the ZIP drive in top bay, but if it doesn't and you've got another 3.5" HDD laying around that you want to install, I'd be curious to see if these brackets work with the sled/carrier.
I can't get a good look at these adapters as they're pictured on the internet, but I'm guessing that it would be necessary for them to be mounted to the carrier from the bottom at 5.25", and perhaps the side for the 3.5" HDD. For some of these adapters, it looks like they were designed for side mounting only in regards to both dimensions, which may indicate that they would not properly mount to the carrier inside the Power Macintosh. If anyone else knows about these adapters and if they work with the old 5.25" carriers from the old Power Macintoshes, your wisdom would be greatly appreciated.
I hadn't thought of installing a second drive. I'll have to take a look at that. If it works, I'll take any pictures and give help for that. Now I have to figure out how to open it up without breaking it...

And thus your true colors show. Welcome to the enemies list.
Wait, what? You're adding him to the enemy list... why? If you're adding everyone in this clan to the enemy list, that's a very bad way to manage a clan. It won't get you very far.
Thanks everyone! The mouse I ordered came in on Friday and it's working great, and it's interesting to see how the old Macs worked.

OS 9 is like the mac equal to Vista, it's a good internet OS but other then that it really doesn't do much. There is no iTunes for pre-OS X systems or OS's. I'd honestly stick with OS 8, alot better operating system and is alot more stable.
Hm... I'm not sure whether I still want OS9 or not. If it's going to be the way you said, I guess only using will tell.

I own a Power Macintosh 6500/275. I believe the last OS I used on it was 8.x, but I recall downloading 9.x updates from the Apple website a long time ago (it's possible this was for my PowerBook G4, I'm not sure). I'll be cleaning it out along with all the SyQuest disks I have during the summer, so if I come across an OS9 CD, I'll let you know. Somewhere, I may have the 9.x CDs from my TiBook, and I'm pretty sure those were not locked to a specific model of laptop like they are now - although who knows if this software is suitable for a desktop.

If you can wait until the summer, I probably have some software that is OS8 compatible if you're interested. Otherwise, I'll try to bundle it with the computer when I get rid of it.
That would be excellent, but you don't have to do that just for a random person on the internet. It would still be much appreciated though!

I happened to have the first generation iPod, and I know for a fact that it works in OS9, because I did not start using OSX until about 2004. iTunes DID exist for OS9, but I'm not sure where you can find that version now. In OS8, I used a program called SoundJam MP for my MP3s, and this program was actually the basis for iTunes after it was bought from Apple. If my HD is not wiped, I definitely still have this program on my computer. Obviously, there is no iPod support with this program, but as somebody already said, the 1st gen iPod was firewire, so I don't see how you'll be connecting that to a Power Mac anyway.
I knew there had to be one, the iPod is pretty old. The whole reason that I was asking if there was an iTunes was for music. It came with an entire GB of songs that I'd like to go through while I work on getting my PC's zipdrive working. Until I get OS9 (if I do), I'll look for SoundJam MP.

Out of curiosity, I recall needing a special VGA adapter for my monitor, as the one on the back of the Power Mac was not standard - did your grandparents still have this as well?
It didn't have a VGA adapter, but luckily had an Apple monitor with built-in speakers. Surprisingly they weren't blown out while it was still in use!

I not 100% sure about this, but there's a chance that the arrow keys and keyboard shortcuts will help you navigate the Mac without a mouse. You may be able to select files by pressing the first letter of their names, then open with the standard Apple-O command. I don't know how far you can get with this, but good luck!
That works, but about all I could do was browse through the hard drive.

I would remove... Huh. I can't think of anything. Maybe I'll think of something later.
