    Everything aside for a moment, I can't wait till I have a medium-ish frigate for shipping resources and dropping X-COM people out of the back in drop pods, sort of like ODSTs from Halo.
    Another thing that popped into my mind whilst thinking about it, will there be personal stealth technology and special melee weapons for the more ninja-esk boarding parties? I mean that would be pretty awesome launching a pod out of your ship that flies into the hangar of an enemy ship and spits out invisible ninja boarding parties. I'd also really love to see massive alliances form that have control over a certain area of space, kind of like Eve, then we could have a re-enactment of the battle of B-R just because someone has a massive stockpile on a station there or something. I'd also enjoy space stations, so I could have an arsenal of weapons to sell and use.

    Ok, yeah that'd be a problem. Well anyways, just as a thought on WMD's how about planetary destruction as a way for world wipe and an attack overall. The world wipe part of it could be used to clear crappy spaceships that never were used and other things as such, and the attack explains itself. Yes, this will take unneeded coding but, it makes for a good way to temporarily disable a group possibly trying to destroy everyone or a way to destroy the capital planet of some alliance, what ever suits your needs. All the server connected to the planet being destroyed would have to do is to create a new planet to accommodate the people on the server.

    Oh, and I've also thought something up that'd be handy for drop pods: Chairs with an flight interface for small 5-15 block drop pods or such. This could be used for invasion plans in which a ship in orbit (if orbits are implemented and if not it would be dropped from space near the planet) drops a pod into the atmosphere at a location in which the flight unit in the seat or whatever would guide the pod to.

    And another thing Id like to ask about, will there be orbits for planets? I mean the ain reason i'm asking is because I want to have surveillance satelites (if implemented) in orbit around my main planet and other planets. I also would want orbits for space stations and such. And would there be inter-planetary missiles (IPBM) that could be launched from the ground of othr planets?

    Just as an idea for development, maybe you should make the initial mod for ssp and smp (and instead of other servers, it would be randomly generated planets to a specific theme). When this is done, you could add the inter server connectivity. I think this would be a bit better of an idea than the current development plans mostly because people could then expirement (expirementing would be handy so people can be ready for interplanetary/server war) with the mod and its parts on their own and/or with a server, before they go completely into the solar system of servers.

    • BIO ABOUT YOURSELF: Overall I'm a pretty dark nerdy person, I'm interested in games ranging from Terrarria to Fallout: 3 and up (1 and 2 were crappy turn based games). I stand pretty neautral religously and politically. In no way am I stuck up, I'm nice to just about everyone.

    • JOB: does a few odd jobs every now and then, doesn't have a true job
    • BIO ABOUT CHARACTER: (Before I start, I'll probably refer to him as Chris a lot) Chris grew up in a small town outside of Lakewood, learning to be quite humble and caring. About when he was eight, the house him and his family lived in was burnt down by an arsonist with no reason what-so-ever. After their house had been burnt down, his family moved in with a distant step relative in Lakewood city. After two years had passed Chris saw people jumping from building to building and doing other such stunts (freerunning/parkour) and was inspired to do the same thing. So Chris started a group of him and his friends to freerun for money and all sorts of other stunt jobs. When Chris was twenty he had headed off to college to study engineering and computer programming. While in college he was hit by a car, even though he survived it damaged his brain, causing his eye or arm to twitch occasionally. As Chris progressed in life he started doing odd jobs and got himself an apartment in downtown Lakewood.And as by the semi-abrupt ending this is where life left Chris.


    I hope to be whitelisted soon, if not immidietly, this looks like a nice server!
