One thing I am wondering is if Mojang is really reading any of this, or if it's just a waste of our time typing our opinions and arguing with people we have never met and never will.

Also the game was running fine before, I don't see why they had to do this now. Alot of big servers aren't 'p2w', I used to play on a capture the flag server, it had different kits, there was like 5 free kits then probably 5 kits you had to buy. The kits that were for sale were like $1.99 at the most. They also did this event every friday, they called it "Free friday". Where when you log on every kit was free for that day. So if you didn't want to play on the days other than friday because it was to hard with the other people using paid kits, then you could just come on friday where everyone would be evenly matched and nobody would be to OP.

GoldK in another one of your post you say something like you always made your bases far out so people with paid ranks could never find you or raid you. So why are you so angry about everyone defending buying ranks. The majority of people posting their opinions on here say they were fine with what was happening before.

So it might be illegal to sell things like 2x xp, but I'm wondering if its illegal to give? I don't see anyway that they can make it illegal to just give a player stuff because they like them. If you know the answer to this question pleas quote me so that its not difficult for people to tell who your answering.
That's actually a good question. It's your server so I guess giving someone something wouldn't be. Also so you can't mods/admins because admins get creative and mods get like /heal?

Let me tell you a story: There once was a game called Runescape. It was owned by a company named Jagex Studios. They had millions of players. One day they decided that maybe they should change the gameplay. So on November 20th 2012 EOC was annouced (Evolution of combat). New graphics new GUI everything was new and different. Not many people liked it. They say they didn't even get much of a notice. They complained how they had no say on what would happen. So as the update was released to the public everyone tried it, everyone liked it at first. Then they were reminded of the old days, the days where they graphics where simple and non-HD where they could run highest graphics without having a $1000 computer. Some people tried hate mail, but the only thing that really worked was a video (), a video that you could reupload to your channel so Jagex would see how much people were upset. Players kept on leaving because they had lost hope and thought the video was not even seen by the company. The game started to die, from 2million-1million players joining montly now probably only 1,000. As the years passed, as the company was dieing they decided, "Hey let's maybe listen to the communty on thier input" So as players sent in their input the company listend. They ended up going back to where they started. Now they have not as much as last time but a big step up from where they were and growing.

I feel if Mojang releases this they will go down the same path. I know they do listen to their community on updates, but this one will change the game. I don't feel everyone will leave, maybe a new kind of gamers will join the game, the ones who like singleplayer games. I'm not saying there will never be multiplayer just not the same as there is now. The players also had this motto: "We pay, We say". This 'Opertation Blackout' is also simular to something that happend, all the players spammed the chat in the most popular worlds saying 'We pay, We say'
    This is my opinion.

How is saying that putting someone down? I'm saying he is acting like that.

I feel like GoldK was one of those player that played a faction pvp server and would always get raided by the best players that donated so now is his chance to get back at those who like the donating.

That will not even run my server it takes 4gb just to run the mods I play with. then if you want players you need allot more.

As for buying there own server and running it from home I have even tried to do that be for I went to hosts just 1 with 1 player it lags to bad there no way you can play to even have fun so much lag. You have to live some place where you can get fiberopics which is not many places in the US at lest not right now 2 years form now might see allot more of it. I live in the US and even I buy servers that is not in the US because its a far better network the US network line is just so far behind other country's.
4gb on a vps pretty much the same as 8gb on a shared host. The reason is because when you buy a server from a server hosting company you share the server box with someone else. With a VPS it's a private server so you're renting a private box. Server hosting companys get thier servers from these companys you buy a VPS from. Also how much was the server you bought for yourself, good ones cost around $800-$1000 also the box doesn't come with internet it runs off of yours so if you have 10mb dl speed and upload speed obviously your server will lag.

Now that I think about it this won't be so bad. If you can make atleast around $10 a month after this is in place there will be no problem. For $10 a month you can buy a VPS (Virtual Private Server) with 4gb of Ram and as many slots as you want. Also on top of that you don't need to pay for a webstie per month because you can host your website on the same VPS. These big servers that claim to make thousands per month can go and buy thier own server box, the physical server they can host their servers from there. That simple.

Most sever owners don't have the ability to allow their players to travel over 10,000 blocks in one direction to find new biomes due to the amount of lag that's caused. Even if they could, with the current generations there is no guarantee that they will even be able to find a new biome in 10,000 blocks!

If someone else's opinion bothers you then discussing recent updates on the forums probably isn't the place for you. Just saying.
You're saying server owners don't let thier players go more than 10,000 blocks? That is not true, On my old server (It was only 1gb) we went all the way to the end of the map and there was no lag. Also I've found multiple biomes in under 10,000 blocks.

This application is done for the rank of admin.Name: Blake (ign is gold_tool)

    Age: 14

Why i should trust you: I'm not the kind of person that betrays people/ abuses other players, and what i mean by that is i won't turn around one day and grief your server.

Do you have experience with prison servers: I have some but not none. I learned how to play this game shouldn't be too hard to learn how to become an admin on a prison server.

IS there anyone i can talk to about your experience: Nobody really, but i might be able to think of some.

Are there any servers i can locate you on: Tons, but i don't want to advertise so msg in-game or through mcforums etc.

    PANIC PVP

Panic Pvp is a new server with already growing community! This server is OP (Overpowerd). If you're not sure what that means, it's basicly diamond armour with prot 4-20... This server is a raiding pvp server so you can either team up with your friends or make enemies by raiding their base with the /kit creeper! :SSSS: This server has 72 slots and about 10-15 players on daily! As of now the owner will do a rank giveaway once it reaches 30 players! There are tons of ranks including a "Youtuber" rank. All you need is 500 subs+ and a server review. This server may need staff I'm not sure(I'm not staff). To find more on this server go to the Youtube channel: iMakeMcVids. < That channel is the owners, he posts stuff on the server for news. The site url you can get In-game. I hop you enjoy this server as much as I do. And if you do like it tell your friends!

posted a message on Mojang: Are They Even Listening?
*Facepalm* First off if they tried to add everything from PC to MCPE You're phone wouldn't be able to run it. Also I'm pretty sure skins weren't the easiest to make, It was probably the first version (Cave Game). Also the reason on realms you need a Mojang account is because they want people to pay money instead of just playing for free (It's all about the money). I do agee though that they could listen to the players more often, but we did get waterfalls did we not? Also if they added all the ideas we all have the game would have so many bugs and it's just too much work for them. If they did add more things the game would lose its touch. The game was suppost to be a survival game, now it's like once you get good it's a luxury to play.

You could always try CraftNode. I've used them before and I was happy with the outcome.
