I have started a 1.9.4 Hardcore map and wanted to see how long I could survive for. I have been playing it for about a day IRL, a total of about 6 hours put into the map. I have saved and loaded about 10 times total, but today when I woke up to play, the map had changed to normal survival.
Ive never seen this happen before, this might be a bug. Is there a way to revert a map back to hardcore?
Also.
When I was in Hardcore mode I noticed that the menu said the map was 0.0 megs big. Once it reverted to survival, I saw now its .15 megs big, however the folder is MUCH larger at 17 megs.
The only thing new that I did was make a map and walk around with it.
Any help to revert this to hardcore mode would be appreciated!
Traded some guy who spent 21 levels on a sword and got bane of spiders 2 for a sword I made at level 1 of sharpness and knockback... He used the knockback to kill enderman who wont tp after a knockback, and I dug up some silk from a spider spawner . Good trade but I think he got the short stick in that deal.

What is more important, function or form?: Functionality at its roots is more important than form, what's the point of something looking awesome if it doesn't work?

What is more important, function or form?: In my opinion, I love to make things look as good as I can, but when I'm playing a survival map, or when I have minimal resources, I choose functionality over all else.

I have constructed a 4 way cobblestone generator from this lava mountain I have painstakingly crafted myself and a very small farm already to get things started.
We are using hamachi at the moment, but if someone else can come in and find a better hosting solution then I would be happy to play there.
This server is legit-only and if I see anyone going into gamemode 1 for any reason its a ban. Even If the bucket falls over the ledge, there's no item spawning.
I would like to see a residential zone, farming area, monster drop style spawner, a pool, and a central area that looks nice.
