Some 360 games I've enjoyed, off the top of my head:
Halo 3, ODST, and Reach, Gears of War, Perfect Dark Zero, Rainbow 6 Vegas and its sequel, dragon age, Ace Combat 6, Call of Duty 2, 3, and 4 (haven't played the more recent ones, so can't vouch for them), Crackdown, Dead or Alive 4, Saints Row and its sequel, Grand Theft Auto 4 and its expansions, Project Gotham Racing, and Marvel Ultimate Alliance.
I enjoy Dwarf Fortress quite a bit. Fortress mode makes for a fun city management sim while adventure mode is one of two rogue-likes that's kept my interest for more than an hour (the other being Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup). I play with the phoebus tileset and a graphics set that's a mix of mayday and my own sprites (for the "civilized" entities and some of the newer animals, like cavies.)
I find that my longest lasting forts are the ones that are put in dire predicaments, as such predicaments stave off fort-ending boredom. I remember one of my favorite forts had been overrun by orcs (mod) and the few survivors that managed to escape the onslaught had to fend for themselves in the sewers with no food and very few supplies while the one surviving miner went about making paths around the orc-occupied portions of the fort to bring the survivors together. Eventually the survivors managed to scrounge enough supplies to make some crossbows to snipe off the orcs with from across a pool of water and the fort recovered once the orcs were dead.
I gave this map a spin. It was a fun challenge, though I'll second the comment that checkpoints would've been nice. Also, the time limit at the last part seems a little draconian. That said, I enjoyed it. Thanks for the map!
