This kinda reminds me of Adventure Time;that show on Cartoon Network. In that cartoon the main protagonists are in a post- appocalyptic world. There are mutant creatures and monsters. There are also hints that the world went through nuclear war (The Mushroom War), thus creating all of those monsters. Finn the main protagonist is also the last of the humans, since they were probably wiped out during the war. This is just my opinion but I think Adventure Time and Minecraft have some sort of relation.

Well another thing to think about is how mine craft has no atmosphere. Technically meaning theres no space. And since the mincraft world (as predicted) is 4 time the size of earth wouldnt that mean that the gravity on the mincraft world would crush you ?

I propose that the void is not the bottom of our world, but the centre of a vast cube. There is a force in the void which prevents blocks from forming inside it and also pulls any item/entity towards its centre and destroys it. The void is a sort of black hole.
But what are the strange particles in the void? These voiks, as I will call them, appear and disappear seemingly at random like they are being created and destroyed by some invisible force. Yet some voiks appear above bedrock.
I propose that these escaping voiks give all blocks their mass. They seep through the layers until they run out of energy and disappear. This is why the hardest blocks are found closest to the void. Bedrock is unbreakable because it is constantly being barraged by voiks.
Sand and gravel fall because they are unstable and cannot maintain enough voik charge (mass) to remain in the grid, they are stabilised by blocks with a higher voik charge beneath them.
Water and Lava are unique blocks in that they radiate from a source block. These liquid growths tend towards the void, but do not fall, and when the source block is removed they disappear. So it seems these leaks have no VC of their own but borrow from their source. Maybe the VC flows like electrons, and the current we feel when walking through flowing water is the VC current exuding from the source block. But they how does the source block maintain enough VC to remain suspended? Fluids are confusing but I'm sure they will fit into the Voik Charge theory!
