Hey guys, I really appreciate the video reviews and the work put in them, I honestly do. I felt like it was past time though that I at least say something here, seeing as how it's been forever since I've touched my texture pack again.
I really, really hate having to admit this, but there's an ounce of truth in it... I've lost the will to work on my pack anymore I think. It's difficult enough at times for me to keep working on artwork in general nowadays. I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to come back to my pack and finish it up, or continue improving upon it. I wish I could, but the want to do so is severely lacking.
I feel like I also owe some explanation as to why this happened. I don't say this out of want for pity or sympathy, but part of what makes it a little difficult for me is that I do have some complications with anxiety and depression that I've been in treatment for, for some time. That, coupled with some various personal issues that I won't discuss here has made trying to focus on creative endeavors a little difficult sometimes.
I honestly feel a little saddened that I haven't been able to work on the pack for a while now, and that it may never get finished. I however, do want to thank each and everyone person that has downloaded and tried my pack from the bottom of my heart, and am even grateful to those that went out of their way to review or show off my texture pack. It's been a very amazing experience to realize that there are people out there that like what I've done.
I would like to think that someday, somehow I'll finish this pack, but I have to be honest in saying that it isn't likely. I especially have to force myself to dedicate more time to doing artwork in general and improving my passion for that first, as well as my technique and skills. Again, thank you to everyone for taking the time with my texture pack, or even looking through it. It's been appreciated!
Edit: Maybe I'll attempt smaller projects in the future, mini-texture packs that only alter like mobs or items or something. Just a random thought.

Okay guys, I'm working on my texture pack again. Or at least, I'm trying to. I've managed to do a little update, so I've changed a few things around here and there and added a few small things. Taking some baby steps till I can get used to it again. Some of the changes include yet another new stone texture, tweaks to the GUI, and other stuff. Give it a download, let me know what needs work, and I'll try my best. Thanks!
May 13, 2012Latest version of this mod seems to work fine, as well as fix the large chest inventory space issue. I love this mod, I've lost track of how many hours me and my brother have played minecraft together now. If you can add in shift clicking somehow, that would be even better. Also, I figure this would help for those who might have the same gamepad as I do, in configuring their setup:Posted in: Minecraft Mods
button inputs for Saitek Cyborg Rumble P3600 (It's similar to an xbox 360 controller, and claims to work like one, but hasn't really so far. Still a good gamepad)
You'll have to adjust the Camera and Movement Axis, reversing them in options.txt since the game makes them a little screwy. I.E. Set them to this for this gamepad:
A suggested setup for this gamepad, button-wise:
You can alternatively use button B (2) for a run button, sneak toggle, drop, interact, etc if you so desire as well. I prefer having Back (8) as my drop though, since it's not easily mashed and you won't drop your main tool or weapon by accident that way.
I do have a suggestion for shift+click if that's a problem. You could make it so that when you hold the interact button and click with the GUI left or right click, it could shift click instead if that's feasible.
Also another problem that could arise with SMP, although there is a slight work around by having the keyboard player click for the gamepad users.... if someone uses a bed to set their spawn point, but not everyone is sleeping... they're kinda stuck until morning, since they can't push the "leave bed" button. If you can add a function for that or set it so that pressing the interact button also makes the player leave the bed, that'd be awesome also.
Finally, just would like to say thank you again for coming up with this mod. It's a real godsend.
May 12, 2012Lil heads up, for some reason the link on the first page for the download of the pack was bad. It was linking to a slightly older version of the pack. Fixed it. Still trying to get my stuff in order. Maybe I need to look at something inspiring, or work on some new versions of old icons again to get my creative juices flowing. Anyway, if you were wondering why the download of the texture pack didn't have stuff like the latest wood plank colors and stuff, that's probably why.Posted in: Resource Packs
Life gives you lemons, you make them take the lemons back. Burn their house down with them. Cave Johnson.
May 9, 2012Seems to work pretty darn well, cept for one glitch I've noticed off the bat. In SMP, large chests don't allow you to go all the way into your inventory spaces.. just the top row of slots. Something's a little screwy there.Posted in: Minecraft Mods
May 9, 2012I'll look forward to your bug fixes. I would like to say thank you though, for making this mod. My brother's laptop is definitely not ideal for running minecraft, and he currently can't afford a decent computer, so the promise of this program lets me hope for us two to be able to play the game together again, and without him lagging horribly. It's a wonderful mod that you're working on here, and I hope you continue to progress with it, with the support of the community.Posted in: Minecraft Mods

The output you provided does not look like the mod is installed correctly, in fact is looks exactly as if you had replaced just some of the files but not all of them.
I gave the Google Drive a try, and that is what I've got in return - an unpleasant and confusing interface. What you need to do is go to the link, then select File > Download. It'll then download the whole zip to your PC.
Sorry about the inconvinience, I'll consider uploading it to dropbox or somewhere else.
I've changed the links to Mediafire: http://www.mediafire...yi48bpubcproog0
Anyone who has configured their joypads could post the name of the joypad and the configuration options so I'd update the first post with the info. Thanks.
That worked, turns out I had the minecraft.class file in the wrong spot thanks to that darn google thing. Still I reinstalled the mod just to be safe. Though now I'm having a different issue. My brother and I were trying multiplayer, and we discovered some SMP related issues:
Anything that uses a GUI can't really be used, with exception of the basic crafting and inventory screen. For example:
I can't craft tools in the crafting bench, Can't smelt in the furnace, or take or place things in a chest. Sometimes it may appear to do these things (Except for the furnace), but after a while it'll return all the things back to their proper places. Also, I can't seem to bind to the sneak function with my gamepad, which is slightly bothersome in trying to shift click things, or sneak. I'll post the configuration I'm using, along with the type of gamepad I'm using.
The gamepad is a Saitek Cyborg Rumble P3600, and the configuration:
I should mention that the GUI's seem to work in single player however, so this is bothersome. Sneak however still doesn't work.
Also failed to mention I didn't get to test this with brewing in SMP, sorry.
May 8, 2012I can't get this mod to work, was wondering if anyone can help me. I'm fairly sure I installed it correctly, but after the mojang screen loads, I get the dirt background for a while, then it blackscreens. This is also what I get in the cmd window:Posted in: Minecraft Mods

I deleted meta-inf in the jar file and put all the class files in the minecraft jar file in the bin folder of the custom directory, but no dice. Thought it odd though that I had to download each class file individualy instead of as a entire collection in a zip or rar. Makes me wonder if there's a file that was deleted or something that I'm missing. Anyway, can somebody help please? I'd be most appreciative.
Apr 29, 2012Thanks thomo. i realize your post was almost a month ago, but it still deserves a little recognition at least. The stone does need work, and which wood doesn't look natural? As far as the diamond block, do you mean the ore, or the compressed diamonds?Posted in: Resource Packs
If you reply, I'll keep your suggestions in mind for when I get the urge to work on my pack again. It's the reason I'm posting now. I figured I should update the status on this pack. It's still 1.2.4/1.2.5 compatible, it's just that I haven't had the urge or will to work on anything creative for a while due to a great deal of personal stress and such in my life driving me nuts for the past couple months. It's sort of taken the zest out of doing a lot of fun things for me, so I'm trying to recoop from that. Hopefully it won't be too long. In the mean time, I'll at least add in default textures and stuff for any new things they add into the game for future pack compatibility. I can at least do that much I figure.
Mar 23, 2012Thank you for the compliment, Rhonde.Posted in: Resource Packs
Okay ah... updated the pack again, it works with 1.2.4 now. Added a bunch of stuff to the changelog, so you can see what I did there. Good stuff I think, I haven't given up on the pack just yet.
Life is hectic right now for me in some ways, so I just wanna put out there that I don't know how often I can update the pack. Obviously it's been almost several weeks since the last update. I'll try not to let to much time go by without an update, but life has this way of kicking you in the pants with stress and priorities.
Mar 8, 2012Thank you for your comments, Cynlet, I really appreciate them! As of a few updates ago, I decided to stick with 32x for the mobs, haven't looked back since. I am considering doing a redo of the zombie textures for the zombie mob, along with some other old textures as well. As for the helmet, do you mean the diamond helmet 2D Texture? Since I'm going to be basing the 3d textures off of those eventually. The iron one is pretty open I think.Posted in: Resource Packs
As for the zombie, maybe if I did something more drastic with the wounds and style. Any suggestions? I'm open to it. I"m thinking a more open looking jaw with exposed mouth parts somehow, like gaping jaw wounds, stretched out exposed muscle, more obvious decomposing flesh... hmm. Maybe a few with giant worms in their bellies or heads. I'll have to sketch up some concepts!
Mar 4, 2012Hey guys, updated the texture pack again. Not too much new with this one, but dirt block and sand block's been updated, End block's updated, and Chests have been updated, as well as the pack has the new blocks added with their default textures for now. Hit a rough patch in real life, reason for the lack of massive update I suppose. Hopefully the next one will be a little better.Posted in: Resource Packs
Feb 28, 2012Working on a new villager texture, trying to think of what to do for the body. The head and exposed skin will have different styles of hair and skin tones for randomobs. Eye color variations too I think, so they're not all going to be white, balding, creepy green eyed people. Also, made new chest textures for my pack.Posted in: Resource Pack Discussion
Feb 22, 2012Heya, updated my pack again with a lot of things, including skins for the sheep, squid, and zombie pigmen! Also put a link to a video review by FreestyleOMG, and will be adding links to other video reviews. Download, try it out, and lemme know whatcha think of my pack!Posted in: Resource Packs

That looks really good!
I like the ones with several eyes :tongue.gif:
It does look a bit blurry though, what resolution is it?
Thanks. ^^ It's for my 32x res pack, so the dimensions of the skins are 128x64
