posted a message on Building A Nether Portal without a Diamond Pickaxe?
In many cases, players are not able to harvest obsidian for the nether portal due to the absence of a diamond pickaxe. However, there are still other ways players can create a nether portal without using a diamond pickaxe.
I have included one way where players can create a portal without using a diamond pickaxe.
Please share any other methods that you all have in mind.

Video showcasing the method i use :

posted a message on Cruddly's Steakatron 2000 [Automatic Steak Farm] [Ideas]
The current contraption i have automatically slaughters cow into steak.
I was thinking if there was a way to make the contraption to be a self replenishing one. Where there isn't a need to refill the contraption every time it is used. Breeding is only a short term method as 2 cows only give off to 1 offspring resulting in the population being halved every-time the contraption is used. Any ideas on how to make it self replenishing? Post them here.

For anyone interested to build the contraption, you can follow the tutorial i created below.

posted a message on Inconsiderate players harvesting all the trees?
    In multiplayer servers,
there are always inconsiderate players who always harvest a lot of trees without replanting them, leaving none for other players.
    Ever had such an experience?
Well, now you can rigged trees with TNTs to troll these pests.
Below is a video tutorial on how to rigged a tree to kill such players
This contraption is easy to build and requires little resources.

I would gladly appreciate feed-backs and suggestions from you guys.

posted a message on A Guide To Minecraft Roofs [Videos Included] [Updated 26/7/2014]
    Hi Guys!
I'm starting a topic and basically its a guide to Minecraft roofs.
Basically, i will update this topic once a week with a new design.
The current roof designs are based on designs on the Minecraft wiki.
As time passes, i will add unique new roof designs.
To be updated, be sure to follow the topic and subscribe to my YouTube Channel.

    Roof Design 12 : Gull-Wing Roof

A gull wing or 'gullwing' roof has a shallow pitch lower down, and steep higher up. These roof designs often have extensive overhangs to help shade the building.

Roof Design 11 : Gambrel Roof

    Info :
A gambrel roof has two or three distinct roof pitches – steep lower down, and shallow or flat higher up. The result is that the usable volume under the roof is greatly increased. Some gambrel roofs may have one or more curved sections. If such a roof is partly curved and partly straight, it's usually the lower portions that are given curves first. These roofs would be hard to model well at normal Minecraft scales.

Roof Design 10 : Dutch Gable

    Info :
The Dutch gable is a hipped roof with a (usually) small gable at the top. It's very common to put a small window in the gable part, but in this image we have used wooden planks for clarity.

Roof Design 9 : Half - Hipped Roof

    Info :
Another way to merge roof styles is to use a gable roof for part of the height of a roof, and then switch to hipped for the remainder. This produces two variant roof types, the half-hipped roof and the Dutch gable or gable roof, depending on which part uses which style. Note how these buildings are significantly larger than the NPC village buildings, and yet if they were much smaller their variant roof styles would be difficult to recognize.

Roof Design 8 : Hipped Roof

    Info :
A hipped roof (or hip roof) is sloped in both directions. There is far less roof volume (for an attic) available under a hipped roof. Placed on a square building, a hipped roof produces a distinctive pyramid-shaped roof.

Roof Design 7 : Clerestory Roof

    Info :
A clerestory window is a window too high to see out of which lets light in to a building. Hence clerestory roof is a generic term referring to a roof shaped to include clerestory windows. This roof shape may also be referred to as a half-monitor roof.

Roof Design 6 : Saltbox Roof

    Info :
A saltbox roof is a type of gable roof where one slope is much longer than the other. Buildings with this roof type quite often have two storeys at the front and one at the back; adding a lean-to back roof to an existing structure in this manner is a simple way to extend a building. The front and back slopes of a saltbox roof may have the same pitch.

Roof Design 5 : Gable Roof

    Info :
A gable roof, also known as a pitched or peaked roof, is an inverted 'V'. This roof design is common in the villages produced by Minecraft's terrain generator, and is useful for small buildings. The building in the image is 6×10 metres. Allowing for the very thick walls one gets in Minecraft that give a usable internal space of 4×8 metres; sufficient for one or two rooms. A building of this size integrates well with village buildings.

Roof Design 4 : Shed Roof

    Info :
A shed or sloped roof is sloped in one direction only. This design is rarely used as the main roof on inhabited buildings, although it may be seen on part of such a building. If it is a building's sole roof it is more likely to be found on cheap, simple or utilitarian buildings such as sheds, animal houses, outhouses or storage barns.

Roof Design 3 : Skillion Roof

    Info :
A skillion roof is a roof surface which slopes in a single direction. It may continue the slope of an existing roof, or be separate. A skillion roof may sometimes be called a shed roof or lean-to. This image of a skillion roof shows a 1 in 1 pitch on the right hand side and a 2 in 1 pitch on the left hand side, allowing the roof to extend out over the porch without dropping to ground level.

Roof Design 2 : Partly Covered Terrace

    Info :
Terraces may be large or small, covered or open, or a mixture of the two.
A balcony may be very similar to some terrace designs, but it is not part of a roof, and the balcony may or may not have a roof covering over it; as a rule of thumb, the area under a balcony will also be outdoors, whereas the area under a terrace tends to be indoors.

Roof Design 1 : Simple Flat Roof

    Info :
This roof type may be referred to as a parapet roof. around it. Always try to use different block types for a roof border. You can use slabs, or backwards steps, forming a gutter, or add a border of blank signs all the way round the building. The only thing you shouldn't do is to just use the same materials as for the rest of the building.

posted a message on Simple One-Button TNT Defense cannon
I have a simple TNT cannon used for defense.
Thing is, the number of primed TNT that can be fired is only a miserable amount of 1.
Is there anyway i can increase the number of primed TNT that can be fired and if i could increase the firepower so that the primed TNT can be launched further away.\

Here's a video on the TNT cannon.

    Thanks!

posted a message on Using Hidden TNT ORE TRAP to AMBUSH unsuspecting player
    Quote from sandsalamander

To answer your question, yep! There is an easy way to reduce the fuse time. Instead of TNT there, place a TNT minecraft on an activator rail nearby, and run the signal from the BUD switch to the rail. It is also recommended to add more TNT nearby :)

The TNT minecart will explode instantly. Wow, i didn't know that. Thanks!

posted a message on Clearing Giant Jungle Trees fast and efficiently
    Quote from Bad_Jim

If you have decided they are unsightly and just want them gone, you can just climb up, empty a lava bucket and get down as fast as possible. Or spam that flint and steel. Or use TNT.

But the reason why it takes a while is that you get a lot of wood. There isn't really a way round that.

For method 2, instead of building a dirt block pole you should either climb the vines using ladders to get past the gaps or place 2 dirt and make a sand/gravel pole. The ladders will be broken when you cut the tree and the sand/gravel can be swiftly removed by removing the bottom dirt block, placing a torch there and removing the other dirt block. The sand/gravel will then fall onto the torch and be broken into items.

Ladder would be more efficient than building a long dirt pole. Instead of dirt, using gravel/sand would indeed be a better method. Thanks!

posted a message on Tripwire Minecart Station [Toggle-able 2 route System]
The tripwire toggles the mine cart between 2 different routes.
If no player is present, empty cart will continue moving in circles.
If a player/mob is present, tripwire will activate and the cart will switch route and move away from station.
    Design is small and simple.
However, is there a way which i can add more different routes rather than only 1?

posted a message on Using Hidden TNT ORE TRAP to AMBUSH unsuspecting player
This is a simple design on how to kill unexpectedly kill players mining for ore.
This design however is not really that effective as players can hear the primed TNT and escape.
Is there anyway where i can reduce the fuse time of the TNT. Or silent the TNT?
