    posted a message on [IDEA] day/night vision on character "creation"

    recently i've been playing minecraft at -1 gamma, which essentially turns any darkness into, well, pitch black darkness. so while i was mining i thought "hmm, what if i could invert this so that light is so bright it whites out the screen?"


    that's my idea. whenever a character first spawns into a new world, or server, they get to choose to be nocturnal, (have night vision), or diurnal (which is like the -1 gamma effect). further expansion on this idea could involve making it so that nocturnal and diurnal characters both have different buff and debuffs, aside from seeing better in specific lighting levels


    any thoughts on this mod idea?

    No, Terra firma craft makes it so there are 20 billion different types of each block, it does not make mobs AI smarter, and TFC "thirst" is jumping into a puddle every few minutes. oh, and you can still carry mountains in your back pocket in TFC. Nothing against TFC,i love it, but it does not have everything this mod will have when development is done.

    Don't know if its been mentioned, but glass should be able to be destroyed by arrows, and falling onto glass from high places should also break it, as well as glass panes being broken by sprinting into them. also, horizontal panes/iron bars

    can you make it so there is a setting to have only 10 hearts that change color when you take damage (if above 20 HP)? or am i just a derp and there already is one?

    got banned for Xray, which i do not use. i just do random mining in any-which way. sometimes i change when the music i listen to changes, or when my clock ticks, or when i find ore, or caves, or bedrock (or chunk errors :D), and so on. still, if you want, ill give you back my diamonds.

    (im kinda random sometimes, though not mignolo-random)
