idk too much as too how big things are to be but the world only generates a little bit. If this is how its supposed to be, make it so you cant fall down like i've been doing xD
(this is regarding the multiplayer version)
Depends on what the game is. If there's an original hook or some great level design then it would work, but if it's just some basic mario clone, that's no good. So if it has an intresting gameplay mechanic then it would be cool and I would definatly play it.
sorry to mislead, but its not a SP game. It's an MMO. I've actually been working on it a little lately. I cheaped out a little tbh and got an "engine" and have been using that to base my game off of.
1. both players have to pass. it doesnt matter who is hosting. if 1 player dies, they mission is over. 2. don't hold the controller regularly. slant it to the side and keep your index finger close to the button and just rapidly press it.
I'm currently drawing some ideas of a game to create. Infact, I've been thinking about it and going over it for about a year now but havent had a job to support it until now. anyway, I was wondering what other gamers think of 2D side-scrollers and what you expect out of them. Now, i'm not talking about one like epic inventor or maplestory. This is a full browser based game. once fully made, I will add tablet support and make an app so it can be played on tablets, not too sure about phones as i dont own a smartphone myself. So yeah, give me your opinion if you would please :]

All I have to say is Lithium hosting. You can easily upgrade or downgrade at anytime and they have excellent customer service. Their up time is excellent. I've never had my site down once for the last 3 years. I recommend their starter package. 10 bucks a year for 50gb bandwidth/month and 2gb disk space. If you are starting out something small, I can guarantee you dont' need much more. I've been running a gmod server with my account and I have fast-download stuff on here and i'm using that package. never went over yet.
Holy ****, I wasn't expecting this. I was thinking this would be some sort of "Idea Guy" thread where some kid just thinks up a game and expects others to do the coding for it, but this is actually pretty cool! Good luck to you!
Thanks a lot for the support! I've noticed a lot of people on here have been paying attention to this post and giving me some warning, advice, feedback, and personal experiences. I just want to quickly take a moment and thank all of you. It truly is because of many of you that I have been continuing this huge ass project.
Also, there is a HUGE update that I am happy to announce but there's a catch, you gotta check it on my blog here if you are truly interested.
