I've been having this issue for a while now, the picture below shows the story. Does anyone know what might be causing the breaking up of the graphics at the horizon? Please note that I've completely reinstalled minecraft and the issue still exsists. Thanks for any help!
We are going to continue our whitelist free weekends next week. However, if you would like to be on the whitelist during the week, please post in this topic or PM Tomnz or myself and you'll have unlimited access to the server whenever it is online.
We are currently looking for people to build in our new town, the whitelist is currently disabled to encourage people to come online so please do if you want to take part in this new venture. IP is in the original post.
Just had a word to the server admin - server's down tonight for some maintenance but I suspect most of you will be whitelisted for when it goes back online tomorrow. He said that people will get PMs when they get added.
Neither of those has changed.
My friend came around to my house today with his laptop and we used my 192.168.*.* address and it worked fine. We figured this was only because we were on the same network as it doesn't work now that he is back at his place.
I don't think there's anything wrong with the server itself and I have a feeling it's the IP or the ports but everything we try doesn't work.
We thought this might be a problem with Minecraft itself as this is the first time we've tried it since the recent updates, but then again, I've been on other servers and it has been fine. But then again, it's seems like the only thing that has changed is the update since we last connected.
My friend and I have a server that we put up every now and again. However, today when we went to connect to the server (hosted on my computer) my friend couldn't not connect using the IP address he has always used despite me being able to connect via 'localhost'.
1. Minecraft user name: Fradazzle
2. How active will you be: Quite active, probably come on most days.
3. Is this going to be your main server: Yes, definitely
4. Do you agree to the rules above: Certainly.
Btw, the server isn't going to be up all of the time, mainly just NZ daylight hours. So don't right us off if it isn't up a couple of times you try to log in.

Any other things we should try?
EDIT: http://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/ - this doesn't show that the 25565 port is open, but everything seems to be as it should.
