For the new launcher use these(assuming your Minecraft.app is in the MacintoshHD Applications folder and not the user; which I believe is the problem you are experiencing. )
For the Macintosh HD/Applications directory:
1. Open Terminal
2. Input "cd //Applications". Return.
3. Input "java -d64 -Xms4096M -Xmx5130M -jar Minecraft.app/Contents/Resources/Java/Bootstrap.jar". Return.
For the Users/<YourUserName>/Applications directory:
1. Open Terminal
2. Input "java -d64 -Xms4096M -Xmx5130M -jar Minecraft.app/Contents/Resources/Java/Bootstrap.jar". Return.
I can't get optifine to work anymore on the new 1.05 update of hexxit. I've tried nearly all of the versions for 1.5.2 including the one that worked before: 1.5.2_HD_U_D3. Anyone have any luck installing?
I recently got this mod to work on singleplayer but I had tried to install this on my server and it crashes. I looked at the crash.txt file to see what the problem is and it says the crash was caused in the mod in net, minecraft, client, renderer, entity,Render. It says it was all throughout those files. Just trying to make it more simple for you to find and iron out that bug if possible
I get the same error on my server though I did get this working on LAN. Unfortunately that's not the way me and my friends want to play it...
Anyways just letting you know it's happening more than one place as I believe this is supposed to be SMP compatible.
Great mod though! Keep up the good work.
If anyone has a fix I'd appreciate a reply/PM/etc.
On mac it's really easy to change any application's icon.
Step 1: Find the image you would like for your new icon.
Step 2: Download/save image.
Step 3: Open image in your favorite pixel-based image editor(I recommend Seashore as it's free if you don't have something like Photoshop)
Step 4: Get rid of any background coloring(if you don't want it) and save as a .png file.
Step 5: Select(using selection tool or similar tool) to get all the pixels you want for your icon.
Step 6: Do 'Edit' > 'Copy' or 'command + c'
Step 7: Go to application in Finder.
Step 8: Right click on application and choose 'Get Info'
Step 9: Click on the image the app currently uses, it should be outlined in a blue box now.
Step 10: Now do 'Edit' > 'Paste' or 'command + v'
The image for the application should change and you now have your new icon.
This works for any application or file.
Currently there is only one OptiFine cape. I will be adding several different colors soon.
I am also considering adding custom HD capes and HD skins.
Thank you for letting me know. If you have the time and it's not too much trouble, could you message me when/if you have additional colors available? I would love to donate since I am a bit of a graphics snob and love the options this mod supplies and the sheer versatility available in it. But, being so much into graphics and having a bit of OCD about such things, I really would like my cape to match the colors of my skin
I would love to use this as i am a huge portal fan but its requiring so many other mods to be installed puts me off as modloadermp and forge have always caused my client to crash in conflict with my other mods.

Much Thanks!

I really wish I could donate to support this, but sadly, I am only 16, with no job, and I'm broke anyways... :sad.gif:
But NEVER discontinue this! It works way too well.
Keep up the good work!
