Has this happened to anyone else? When making a creative map in 12w07 (a and :cool.gif:, when you are walking through a biome where wolves and ocelots would normally spawn, they MASSIVELY SPAWN at your location? like, you walk or sprint and leave a trail of wolve/cats?
What if you shoot it into a space you can't fit in?
Good point. What about suffocation? It's a fair 'punishment' for being reckless, just as digging head first into a pile of sand or gravel.

Makes sense, and it all depends on the final release and subsequent changes. And if the mob's rarity gets as high as, let's say, the slime, the item would be even more prized.

There's an equippable item, called the "Blink Dagger". It allows the user to teleport instantly to a nearby location upon use.
I was thinking about the "blink dagger" when I saw the teleport animation the Endermen have. I've read about the speculation and suggestions of what could be the use of the ender pearls. Then I thought:
What if we combine regular arrows with an Ender Pearl, to make an "ender arrow" (insert any other name here). You'd have to shoot it with a bow, and the place where it lands, WHAM! teleport.
Personally, I think it's fairly balanced, because:
It has awesome potential uses (getting in/out of caves, ravines, crossing canyons, climbing, getting of cliffs without getting hurt, etc.)
Requires some grade of skill (if aimed wrong, it can send you down a cliff or into a pit of lava)
Limited range (the bow's actual range)
Limited amount (when combinig pearls/arrows, it should be a 1:1 ratio, that way the items will be really prized, and it will encourage fighting the Endermen.)

Also, the sides of the grass block don't change according to the new biome type.
