Have you played any Technic Pack mods before? I have not played on any servers running it but have used mods built into the pack heavily such as industrial craft and build craft
Have you ever been banned before? No
What do you want to get out of this server? I want to learn more about different mods in the pack that I never have tried out yet.
Anything else? Nope.
OK so for now this only works with Multiplayer then. I will work on an update. Hopefully it should be a simple update as I really only need to add a few lines of code to determine if it's singleplayer or multiplayer and do a different command based on that.
In any case, I think this speed dial concept is quite brilliant and snazzy. Will this work also for SSP? For SPC commands, for example?
I honestly have never tried it as, I actually rarely play single player at all. Please try it and report back if you could. If it doesn't work I will try to put out some kind of update to fix it.
Those screenshots are examples of what you can configure the menu to look like and do. That button actually in my config has no command attached to it, it's just for show. The mods all about customizing.
Yeah I've just always wondered how to get a config file there...
Well what sort of thing would you be needing in a config file? There is an easy way which tends to not work very well but depending on what you need it would be okay. Then there is a harder way which I chose to use but it's a lot more difficult.
Wow, I never knew what the load() method was for. I always just left it blank. Do you know if it is used for anything else? It just feels kind of useless.
You can use it if you want things to happen on the mods first load. Such as generating a config file.
It's not as easy to code for Bukkit. It is quite different then coding for the Minecraft Client. You have to spend a lot of time to understand how to code on bukkit first which for someone who makes these big mods is hard to do since there limitied on time.
FogHelper is a Minecraft mod designed to make a users life a lot easier in the game. Specifically it helps staff the most. It's designed to make it easy to perform commands that may normally be long commands. You can also use the Canned Replies features which allows you to send a message to chat in multiplayer. This feature is NOT designed to be used to spam servers and therefore the menu is autoclosed to prevent people from spamming the button. They still have the possiblilty to spam with it of course but they would be better off using some kind of spam hack rather then this anyway. I have made sure that the config file is as user friendly as possible and allows you to easily edit what each button does and even what the label for each button is!

Give this beta version of the next version a try:
http://fogest.net16....er1.01-beta.zip
I didn't include the config file, just use the old one should be the same. If it works I will officially release this version!
EDIT: Okay whatever I released it. I did some more testing I get no crash now in Singleplayer but I haven't test with single player commands yet.

Well it's easier said then done trust me, but that was just an example there are probably tons more other things you could do on modload.
