Sure, it would probably just return you to that screen when you reloaded your save (just like any time you reload while dead) but then you could always use NBTEdit or something. It would provide a way to restore your saved game if you hadn't backed up if you changed your mind about hardcore mode. And let's face it—who wouldn't change their mind about hardcore mode once they're already dead?Posted in: News

Then if you like it that way, you can keep the day/night cycle turned on.

I thought that worked, but guess what? It still gets dark. Why can't Notch just release an update that lets you turn it off, seeing as so many people want it? I mean it's seven whole minutes? It's hard to enjoy it if I have to take seven-minute breaks every ten minutes.

When I load Minecraft on my Mac, it works fine, but then when I hit refresh or start the game again in any other way it doesn't work. I can restart the browser, but that's inconvenient. This happens in both Firefox and Safari.
Also, an unrelated bug: sometimes the mouse cursor still appears. This is okay if it doesn't move, but sometimes it does move but just starts jerking around (rapidly goes back to the same place when it moves.) If this happened to you you'd know what I mean. The problem is when it does that it really slows the game down for some reason. Any idea of how to fix this?
