Again, I guess being 'grown up' means you have to get rid of any sense of humor.

If I had no sense of humor I would never be able to enjoy Night Vale. And I enjoy Night Vale. I guess that means I still have something. Maybe just a lump left of humor in me, like week-old curry in an overused plastic bag.

    NIGHT VALE

Obviousy being grown up means sarcasm doesn't get to you.

Well I took it as non-sarcastic as it's perfectly realistic.

I'm going to give you a second chance Kuloko. Hopefully we've both grown.

Just a notice: The server is currently down, and will most likely be down for the better part of the day.

I'm sorry. It's been a while. Have we met before? If so, remember me?

Hmmm....I'll remember that 8-14 months from now....do texture packers communicate or know each other? Do you know Doku, Steelfeather's, Eld, etc.? Also, what about trapped chests for the textures?

What inspired you to create a MC texture pack? How long did it take? Would you ever consider doing another large project such as Jolicraft?

posted a message on Maizes and Hallows *Supernatural-Halloween-Midwestern Text-Based Roleplay*
All things die. It is the natural progress of things. Servers die. Servers can die very easily. Hosting problems, low player count, administrative problems, troubles with ex-mods, technical issues, etc. Minecraft roleplay servers take a lot of strength to host and keeping pushing. Some isn't even strength. Luck and timing are two things that always come into play. I'm not lucky. I'm not that strong. This is a bad time. I cannot host a Minecraft server. Also, Minecraft only allows for a certain play style.

    BUT....

A texted-based roleplay? One that exists not in Minecraft but on a forum? Does it include evil scientists? Demon invasion? Naughty things? Awesome lore? A homemade world? Kansas? A post-apocalypse environment? Pumpkin lords? Coffin Eaters? A new multi-media element? Supernatural powers? Pagan cults? Arachklans? Constantly being updated? All wrapped around a Halloween theme and tone?

Includes all of these things and more. I've written 9 pages of lore along with creating a map of the main starting town, coords, conversion charts, and soon sketches. More characters and players are joining, but not soon enough. I'm looking for good roleplayers and writers to create characters and jump into the newly started roleplay Maizes and Hallows.

    The link is w11.zetaboards.com/Terrorworld/topic/8292294/1/

I could use all the good people I can. If you are not good at roleplaying don't look to far into this, I would prefer people who like to roleplay or write, and are good at it. PM me any questions or comments! Thanks!

    GUYS
    LISTEN

Deniviere--also known as Colbinile--has done a lot. I've followed him from the start. From War Never Changes to Age of War to Solsteim, until he passed down from being a server creator to this. I lost contact and just ran into him.
    The fact is:
I know him. He's done this a bunch. He's built cities and employed dozens or several servers.
That doesn't mean he should be a Debbie Downer! Or that you guys should listen to him. Then again, he does have insight into this. Give him a chance, but only if he is more polite. This is embarrassing. Anyway, continue.

C'mon guys this is so stupid. Why would you accept thirty+ pages of people and then start building? No progress updates or anything, just silence.

Deni...why are you involved in this?

Some things... Overall good app, though.

    1. Voting on planet minecraft is not too difficult, simply head to the link and there will be a voting option. You'll have to enter some letters, to make sure your not a robot and all, and then you'll be good to go.

    2. Your power-gaming definition is a bit off. There's more to powergaming than cheating and such.

    3. You're missing something, please re-read the rules.

Until then, your app is DENIED!

I thought you guys were missing something by me not seeing something in the rules. Never mind, I got it now. I voted on Planet MC. And I believe power gaming also includes doing too much too fast. Instead of allowing someone to recoup and respond, a powergamer might simply *me kills you* or even KoS. That better (I hope)?
Are there drug like items in the server? I doubt, I'll even use them if there are, y'know, 'cause Skooma kills.

    OOC:
    IGN: fishoak
    Age: 15
Why us?: Looking for RP. InsaneArtist isn't cutting it. I wanna build.
Have you voted for us at Planet Minecraft?: I'm not actually sure how to.
Define Role-Playing in your words: (See front page for examples) Pretending to be an alternate character other than yourself. Your character usually interacts with others and is in a fictional world. Can be non-fiction as well though. Usually takes place in fandoms.
Define Meta-gaming in your words: Using info from outside the roleplay to influence the scene. Can include but not limited to: Calling someone by their IGN or actual name, talking about events in great detail even though they never partook in them, using evidence they found on forums in OOC chat.
Define Power-gaming in your words: Cheating. Having a too powerful character that in usually extremely lucky. Generally occurs with new RPers who do not know the ropes or with 10 year olds.
    IC:
    Name: Charon Servendi
    Nickname: (Optional) Ra Gada
    Age: 16
    Gender: Male
    Race: Reguard
Appearance: Blistered fingers, cloth-wrapped face, several satchels and bandoliers on his person to carry his belongings and weaponry, all covered in a tight fitting fur coat.
Personality: Respectful towards some races but xenophobic and hateful towards others. Due to his complex upbringing he has hated the Kamal but respected the Tang Mo. Seems flat towards many from Tamriel, they did nothing to help him. Knows danger and purposely passes peaks of it and into situations that he cannot crawl out of. Enjoys games and adventure more than anything else, but will not take a party with him on such an adventure if they have different views than him.
    In-game RP example: (Include dialog)

"I heard something out by Arpon." Seven-Eye drank a sip of torkendi (molasses based wine) before continuing.
    "Go on."
"Some Kamal, say a group of ten, are raiding fishing ships off the coast of the Yearner."
    "No!"
"Aye. Being lead by that one-armed one, uhh, what's his name?"
    "Sharp Tongue."
"Yes, Sharp Tongue. Some are saying that found a whale carcass and built their ship into it. Can you believe? They're then sailing down the cold waters beyond Kamal territory, to raid some settlements. The fishers just think it's a dead whale floating towards the coast. Next thing they know we find those exact fishers dead, floating towards the coast. If this continues--"
    "It shan't."
    "Why is that?"
    "I'll see to it."
"You don't have the arms to son."
    "Aye. Wish me luck."
Background: (Detailed and in-depth, 2 paragraphs) Charon Servendi was a son of Jolda and Staron Servendi, Redguard merchants. Since the Great War things for the Redguard were tough and getting tougher, with their markets dying and resources dwindling. Staron set out as a pirate to raid various ships heading to and from Akavir. The continent was home to several treasured goods and he intercepted some of these. Selling the bounty and returning to the waters, Staron made good money. Eventually he was caught, a merchant ship turned out to be an army ship. Staron's son, Charon, was on board that journey, he had thought it good that his wife, newborn son, and members of his crew be there when he made a swipe. He thought he was very valiant. One crew member estimated that the military might come for them as well, so they sailed away and towards the north of Akavir. It was not the right season to return to Tamriel. Their ship crashed on an iceberg and Charon washed up on the shores of the snow demons. They refused to take the child in, and left him for dead.
A Tang Mo, however, was stationed in the north for alchemical studies and found the child. He was disgusted that the Kamal did nothing. The Tang Mo, Tan I, raised Charon as his son. Charon studided chemistry, arithmatic, and various climbing skills that Tan I had learned over his years. By the time Charon was a teenager he was mature enough to leave the perimeter of the cabin the two had lived in. Now Charon adventures and explores the cold wastes of the north, attempting to right the wrongs the Kamal has performed on the people of Akavir and on himself.
