So basically im looking for a seed with Caves, nice animals, trees, (Oak trees) A river. Nothing weird like an NPC town, or instant diamonds. Im looking for a survival world not this little ecstasy hit of ooh 15 diamonds and delete the world.
Hey guys! So Ive been working on my base for quite a while now, maybe 30 minecraft nights. Just wondering what you guys think. Its quite nice as it has become my "Survival" world. Anyways you will spawn on a ladder keep going up till you get to the mine. go up a few blocks to get to the mine door. Open that and your in the main part of my base. The only areas not labelled are in my secondary base and that's the "IDK" room and the Farm room. Will expand the room later. K bai EDIT 2: Please disregard the roofs, I haven't got around to fixing them yet.
I downgraded to alpha 1.2 or something and made a world in world 1. In my saves folder it has world 1 there but nothing shows up in my 1.4.7 minecraft. I downgraded, because I would like the old generation with the trees and the sand and stuff, with no jungles. Any ideas?
Okay, I'm admitting I'm an Etho's fan, but what his builds look awesome. So, like a lot of the others have said, make all your walls stone bricks. But, make the ground grass. It looks nice in almost every biome except desert. Also, try to keep wall decorations either at least two high, or make them take up an entire segment of a wall. That way you'll be able to see the connection between the wall and floor, and still make it look nice. Hope this helps!

Is anyone able to supply me with Ethos seed for his minecraft world? Its fantastic and I would love it. Googled around and couldn't find it.Thanks guys
First: Get rid of all that dirt and make everything stone bricks. Stone bricks are pretty good at resisting creeper explosions. Dirt and gravel will essentially disintegrate when there is an explosion.
Second: Replace all of your doors with iron and put pressure plates on the inside. Zombies can't break down iron doors. A pressure plate on the inside simply makes it easier for you to leave and the door will shut automatically once you do. Also, you can stand on the plate and the door will stay open in case you wanted to snipe something outside with a bow.
Third: I can't tell by these screenshots but basically some advice: Put your chests in a secure location that is close to the smelting room and give yourself a few more chests. As you gear up more and more you will collect more and more stuff and you'll be glad you made the room for more chests.
Fourth: Light light light light light. Make sure that every corner of every room floor to ceiling is very well lit. This is your best defense against mobs spawning on the inside of your base and killing you while you go to get some hot chocolate.
The dirt is in my hidden room. Everything is lit up and my outside door is iron. Pressure plate and button. I also just sleep through nights
So basically im looking for something that's actually able to do, without a massive drain on resources. Like making diamond blocks or any of that sort of stuff
