((Awesome! I attracted someone :3 Keep in mind that Qunari are the people of the Qun. You could be any race and still be Qunari, but actual Qunari have horns and are ridiculously built. Also, Qunari keep their mages chained. Literally. Chained. So you probably escaped from Par Vollen immediately. Might as well submit my app!))
    Name- Jonathan Hawke
    Age(Between 18 & 50)- 24
    Gender(Male/Female/Both)- Male
    Race(Human/Elf/Dwarf/Qunari)- Human
    Class(Warrior/Rogue/Mage)- Mage
    Skills(Sword & Shield/Dual Wield/Archery/Magic)- Arcane Warrior
    Organization(Grey Wardens/Templars/Bards/Other)- Isolationist
    Facial/Physical Appearance-

    Clothing/Armor-

Personality(Optional)- Serious in battle but agreeable in personality. Though he may be socially awkward, it is mostly due to the time he has spent away from civilization. He has modest control over his emotions.
Biography(Optional)- Dismissed by most as an apostate, Jonathan never really had time for conversation with people. He did however have time for demons. As he was toiling away in his house one evening he accidentally tore a rift in the Veil. Normally this would be catastrophic, but on the other side of the Fade's wall was a benevolent wisp of justice. It stood in the middle of countless bodies of pride and hunger demons and was in very bad condition. In order to save the spirit Jonathan decided to mend with it and close the tear (not before killing several desire demons). Jonathan quickly found out that this new being was skilled in an ancient form of magic known as Combat Magic. It allowed Jonathan to wear armor unfit for a mage and use weapons that he could not previously hold. He continued to hone his skills and now (partly compelled by Justice) wishes to fight these new creatures emerging from the dark all around Thedas and beyond.
Location- The Deauvin Flats in Southern Orlais (Think right at the edge of the Arbor Wilds)
Equipment(10 Items or Less)- Greatsword, 5 minor Lyrium potions, Helmet (usually he stores it), Enchanter uniform (feels connected to it and always carries it around)
Others(Suggestions or Secret Code)- This is not actually the Dragon Age yet. We are probably more into -300 Ancient. Dragons have not yet died out and won't for several hundred years. A cool thing to do might be making Dragon Hunters a Organization. Sounds cool. Also, GRIFFONS!!! They are absolutely still alive and Grey Warden leaders are gifted some.

If this dies I will be surprisingly disappointed. It is one of the better RP's on the forums.
Therefore, I am bringing this to the front page. If you have even the slightest interest please apply and read up on your DA knowledge. Let's fight Dumat together.

I'll just stop by to offer something that hasn't been mentioned to the mix: Dishonored.
Best game I played last year, and possibly the most enjoyable game out of all (for me personally).

    Yes yes yes.
I play all of my games as if they were my character in Dishonored, even minecraft. I combine magic and sneaking around to do whatever I need to do. Be it Dark Souls or CoD, I'm a supernatural assassin.

I have a tie. Saren at the end of the original Mass Effect on its hardest difficulty, and Artorias from the Prepare to Die version of Dark Souls.
Saren was a really unique enemy in the original Mass Effect, combining the best of all of the geth soldier types. On top of that he had the most health in the game and also the best cutscene of the Mass Effect series IMO.
Artorias was somewhat of a legend in the Dark Souls universe, and going back in time to free him from the influence of the abyss was a decision that all players should have willingly made. Defeating one of the most powerful knights of the ancient times, even decaying in power, is also rewarding. You will feel like a boss slaying him.

Plenty. Minecraft is a very flawed game, especially outside of building and redstone. People give it too much credit.

Well that is a bold statement! Minecraft is far more than just building with redstone to me. People do give it too much credit, but Minecraft is a wonderful game.
To answer the OP's question, Dark Souls. It beats Minecraft in difficulty by leaps and bounds and also has a very intricate item-based lore to it that is unique in general gaming, forget the rpg subset. Dark Souls is a vastly satisfying game.

When I took this a long time ago I got the rogue (which makes sense admittedly, I aways play a rogue) but I think my true character has limited magical abilities. I like Dishonored because it mixes assassination with occult properties that fit my playstyle excellently.

I'm assuming that your idea was for wands to be universal and have a way to make wands channel spell-casting energy Azanor? I very much like that idea. If you have any doubt to that system I would like for you to lay it to rest. It seems too brilliant, I can't believe I did not suggest it first. I personally hate having to scroll through all of my elemental wands to get the one that I enjoy in a specific situation. I also agree with your idea to clean up research. It desperately needs a good cleaning. As for the rest, I don't really care all that much. I like the whole vis and aura nodes thing we have currently but what you propose is equally as good. As long as flux is still in the picture I don't really mind.

Now for some suggestions! With the added magic amplification I would like to suggest something very controversial. Hear me out will you?

What if we could have a summoning system? Now I don't mean summon a zombie to come fight with you, that would be rather dull. I mean like summoning circles that increase magic damage, open portals to frightening dimensions (I would like to explain this comment by stating that you can not go to these dimensions through the portals, just let monsters enter) or send a massive amount of flux into the environment. Perhaps a disgruntled thaumaturge with enough research, flux and experience on him could become a shadow-like figure that mobs ignore and unleash all three fully upgraded suggestions on a small village of testificates leaving the landscape barren and dangerous. There would also have to be some normal-magic equivalent so that a group of thaumaturges (is that the plural form? ;P ) could take such a fiend down. It could add a great new level of immersion into the mod with a research tree that allows you to choose your path and become a dark summoner or a incandecent mage. I've thought about this for a while, and I think it could be quite a fun addition to thaumcraft. Maybe there could be other forms of neutral magic too like investigation on the bindings to the environment to turn people invisible, create blocks from flux and have (very, very limited) influence on things like weather paterns and wind (gliding anyone?). I'm just throwing ideas out there, do with them as you will :)

posted a message on Most hated enemy in Demon/Dark Souls?
It can be bosses right? I really hated Ornstein and Smough when Dark Souls first came out, but now they seem easy as long as you kill Smough first. I think the hardest bosses are the four kings, as they have ridiculously OP unavoidable attacks like the seeking missle and AOE bomb on a high-poise character. If you don't have good magic resistance you will be killed pretty quickly. I would also like to point out that no one fights all five at the same time (yes you can fight five four kings XD).

Minecraft/Skyrim. Only two games i've been playing recently. :3

What difficulty do you play Skyrim on? If you like Skyrim on the hardest difficulty, I would suggest giving Dark Souls-or better yet-Demon's Souls a try. They are both open world RPG's with a bit more difficulty than Skyrim. Expanding upon your favorites in gaming is part of the fun!
