Long time fan of Pam's Mods, long, LONG time fan.

But why no chorus fruit meals? I would love some teleporting meals made from this fun new fruit!

Maybe some chorus fruit juice, chorus fruit ice cream, chorus fruit fritter, chorus fruit pie, chorus fruit smoothie, chorus fruit milk shake, caramel chorus fruit on a stick, pineapple and chorus fruit pizza, I mean the list just goes on.

Though maybe caramel chorus fruit on a stick is pushing it... I don't imagine caramel to taste good with chorus fruit... maybe a blueberry candied chorus fruit on a stick instead?

One other thought, I wonder if it would be possible to add a chunkloading block to Millenaire and include it as a part of each town's default building? I suppose on a largish server or instance you might end up with an extra 10 or 15 active Millenaire villages eating up CPU and memory constantly though.

That might be the easiest thing to do. I wonder if I could simply attach the chunkloading code to Millenaire chests, so any chunk with a Millenaire chest is default loaded.

I know that current advice is to simply chunkload every village manually, but when people are exploring on a server that tends to involve too much administrative overhead...

I've always been in favor of a chunk loading block but I think the painful past of everyone whining about how laggy Millenaire is because their computers were far too weak to be able ro run anything decently might be making Kinn be against anything which could add to the lag...

But perhaps a denier-made item, like a crafting recipe of nine gold deniers makes one golden chunkloader?
It would be nice if it was village specific too, like if you place it in a village it will specifically keep everything inside that village active and all of the village's activity too

y is it in .zip on 9minecraft? y not .jar?

What is 9minecraft? Is that one of those illegal sites that has stolen software and is probably full of viruses?

oh, in case hes rewriting the mod, he should add the possibility of making villages in other dimensions

Sadly due to the bedrock sky in the Nether, a Nether village would be basically impossible unless it was specifically coded to work in the Nether, even then with the weird landmasses it would be very unrealistic. But it might be possible in the End, just... also very unrealistic...

Hate to say this, but I cannot create an account or login to the Millenaire wiki, as the confirmation code widget is broken. Whoever is responsible for the site should likely fix this.

They are working on replacing that website actually, personally I want this to be the new wiki:

Sounds amazing! I gotta try em out when they are ready to be tested. What kind of lore quests are you thinking of for the others?

It is my understanding that they will have an overlaying story and will be meant to be done in order with the Inuits being last but other than that I don't know about the other cultures.

For my Inuits though I do have some notes on my Inuit article I made for posting all of my notes on them to get my head around them.

    1.7.10 -> 1.8.9 is difficult. 1.8.9 -> 1.9 -> 1.10.2 is much less difficult.

Difficult barely covers it, the mod literally had to be rewritten from scratch for 1.7->1.8

For smaller mods that don't do much this wasn't an issue but Millenaire is VERY involved.

Yeah, I figured it would be a good reaction vid to seeing this. Millenaire was one of the first few mods I played with, and it continues to live on in my heart as a fave of mine. Especially blasting through bedrock to show the Alchemist the Void. Wonder if there'll be any other main quests after the Aztec one to figure out other parts of Minecraftia, maybe one to understand the Nether or the End? Maybe even one to explore the End Cities and examine the elytra.

The Creation Quests ARE getting an overhaul, there will be some changes and every culture will get one.

Not sure, but if I recall correctly it is possible that these "buildings" generates before the are needed. Not sure why or how.

I suggest u keep looking for the Alchemist.

remember there is a text file somewhere in your "save folder" where all Millenaire generated lone buildings are listed with coordinates....

I'm pretty sure it doesn't... but it CAN spawn in already loaded chunks though.

But yeah the save folder is a good idea just in case it was missed.

I still don't fully understand why Kinniken wouldn't want to make it open source, as it would allow people to revive this mod, but oh well....

    Millenaire updated!
