I understand it's easy to do this with some sort of program.

I'm sorry but this is nowhere near the most efficient mob grinder ever, as you can clearly see, this mob grinder produces ~11,500 items an hour, a sum much larger than yours, good fight.
This is a very cool idea; It has to be developed a little bit more, though.
I'm in the middle of saying that this is an amazing (defense?) game. I say defence because you will have to protect your huts from mobs and at the same time gather enough resources to prevent anyone from dying. Of course, until your tribe becomes too big for you to feed anymore, in which case, you lose?
That, or an excellent new Game Mode!!! :biggrin.gif:
With Notch in the progress of making NPCs and tribes anyway, this kind of Game Mode would be quite feasible.
What do you guys think? To start out alone (or with another person, to add realism) and slowly add NPCs to create a giant, working tribe in which you.... do something.

I've never really seen it as something I need, if I need mass amounts of wood I use an axe.
