The wiki has detailed instructions on both 'co-op' and 'split-screen':http://minecraft.gam...com/SplitscreenI think the problem is that she's trying to sign in with her account (this is local split-screen, right?)
Yes it is about the local split-screen, but technically since the game does give her the choice to choose which profile/account to log in to, I was expecting her to be able to play with her accounts not just some guest player.

Yes it is I play with my son split screen both signed into our accounts. To do this I had to add my sons account to my ps3 then when he joins he gets the option to sign in with his profile. before his account was put on my ps3 he could only sign in as a guest.Hope this helps
That's the thing, she already has her own profile and PSN account, but when the game ask her to log in and she tries to use her account, the game does not proceed in logging her.

I have never, ever seen sliptscreen Minecraft...there is local multiplayer...but thats the closest...without two controllers on one PC, then you would get an login error if you dont do it right. You must start one Minecraft, login to a server, then when you are in, start the other minecraft, then login, otherwise it wont work. Hope this helps! If it doesnt, post below.

Since I posted the thread in Minecraft PS3 Edition, it was about the PS3 edition... not the PC's. And yes, the local multiplayer/co-op is indeed splitscreen.

Hello everyone, I have bought the game back on Wednesday and I had a problem with Minecraft's splitscreen co-op mode. When I started and created the game's world, my girlfriend and I wanted to play co-op. Although when she tried to log in with her account, it didn't work. She had to play with me as a guest.

My question is: is it possible for two players log in with two different accounts and play Minecraft's co-op mode? and if it is, what might have I gone wrong?
