DRG is hosting an RFW (race for wool) tournament this summer. It would be very nice if anybody could help out in any way to bring this to a reality. What we need for this are teams and streamers/casters.
Tournament will be double elimination with losers bracket single game rounds, we will be using bukkit servers with the AutoReferee Plugin, this way we don't need referees and the streamers can have some nice ui updates that work with the server. Based on our usage of the AutoReferee plugin we will be using the same rule-set as RMCT.
Team signups end ~July 10th, tournament would begin ~July 20th We hope for the tournament, based on the "amazing" response we have had in response to it the tournament will be hopefully finished fully by the end of September at the absolute latest, this would only happen if we ended up having a huge response in teams. The games will be scheduled after the tournament is officially started.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is:Power-Gaming is the act of using knowledge of the game rules to make your character stronger. It is often seen as a challenge to many Power-Gamers to master the rules of the game. Its as if I have a spell that kills people instantly, for example I am in an argument with a person and I just say *Anhairen casts death on billy-joe and loots his corpse* that causes the game to be unplayable for other players.
What do you expect this server will be like?:I expect that this server will be a great place for me to hang out with people I know but don't know as they are in a completely different persona, I also expect to meet interesting personalities while Roleplaying.
What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I have played on many servers including eKristensen AverageZone/IcicleCraft, SomethingCubed PvP, and MyoSMP. Those are just a few of the servers I have been on, the usual reason I left them was that the server either stopped being hosted or the community stopped being as good as it once was.

Biography:Anhairen Clawshooter, a misguided man who has slitted blue eyes that are like two sapphires. His thick, straight, orange hair is worn in a style that reminds you of a flower's petals. He is very short and has an over-muscled build. His skin is slightly tanned. He seems to prefer green clothing and if he is not wearing green he usually has a cloak of some shade of green. He has strange scars on both of his wrists that almost seem like they were made by the same blade at the same time. He is of a quiet sort and keeps in touch with a small group of friends.
He was raised in a small mining town far from large cities. He always has had a feeling of not belonging. His favorite places to be are down in the mines, and being with his family.
Anhairen who has recently turned 50 years old and his adventures are just beginning. He does not want to leave his home but he finally has been convinced of the changes in his life and also feels something he has never felt before, boredom. With this new sensation weighing heavily on him he leaves town to find excitement, or just something to do that does not include being underground all day. He is comfortable around dwarven folk and elves. He has never gotten along with humans or dogs. In his sheltered life he has never seen orcs and is deathly afraid of them since what he has heard has made them seem like monsters
Anhairen, leaving home for the life of an adventurer, finds himself ravaged by the sights of war, pain, starvation and finally grief for his home town was ravaged by war and everyone he knew was killed, sets off on a new horizon of life, one of loneliness, friendship, and vengeance. Constantly looking for the people who ruined his life. He is a man with one goal, kill the man who killed his family.
What are your Character's ambitions?: My Characters ambitions are vengeance, vengeance and ending the pain of people he cares about
What is your character’s favorite tool?:My characters favorite tool is a pickaxe as he feels the need to keep the ones he cares about protected with armor and tools.
What is one of your Character's most skilled talents?Anhairen Clawshooter's most prominent talent is that the time he has spent in the mines has made him both impervious to sickness and also strong enough to shoot his bow farther than anyone else from his town.

Other Information about your Character:My character never leaves his home without his bow and his pick, he is a strange sort who would rather fight with his pick then run away to get a vantage point with his bow. his youth since he was 10 was spent mining. Ever since his town was ravaged by war he has not found any friends that he feels comfortable to confide in.

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? The second I see the warriors harassing the halfling I pull my bow and notch an arrow onto the string and slowly pull it back. I also look around and see A tree and no other people about. I shout at the bandits, "step away from the halfling or be nailed to the tree with my arrow before you can move." As I spoke the man closest to me instantly turned around and replied darkly, "Aye what do we have here? A puny little elf you couldn't hurt me if you tried." As I said since he didn't step away from the halfling I shot him, the force of the arrow knocked him back into the tree and pinned him to it, I purposely didn't shoot to kill because I had vowed never to kill anyone unless attacked first, all i did was cause him pain and incapacitate him. Immediately the bandit's partner charged me screaming,"What have you done? You killed him." As he finished his sentence I drew my pick, not having a sword, and with the point cracked his sternum. He then crumpled to the ground where I tied them both up. Seeing the halfling had fled I was glad I could help, then I saw he had left a pouch with a quickly written note, thank you sir. That caused me great joy, I took the items in the pouch and walked off looking for more adventures.
Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?"Hello good sir. I would like to buy some materials to repair my tools with." "What kind of tools do you have?" "I have a golden pickaxe and a longbow." "I may have something for the pick and I know I have something for the bow." *The Shopkeeper turns and rummages through his wares.* "Would this do for the bow?" "Yes it would, how much does it go for here?""40 Minas, and I have something that may work for your pick as well.""Ill take the rope and extra string to fix my bow. How much for the; anvil and gold?""2000 Minas." He replies. "Thank you for your service. I will soon come again.""May the gods protect you.""And you too."
Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:I instantly draw my bow and search around in the forest around it. Once I'm sure that it is safe I venture closer, I then check to see if anything in and around the house is rigged. I then see that it is truly safe, walk inside and decide that I'll only take the iron bars so that I can repair my armor later. I then walk off for greater adventures.
Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond?"Hello there good sir, welcome to our small camp."Looking around to make sure nothing bad is happening I reply, "Hello, it would be great to be here if I weren't this distracted by hunger.""I can tell, you look as if you haven't eaten in a month.""It sure has felt like a month. Would it be possible for me to buy some food from you, and some provisions to get me all the way to where I'm going?""Sure but lets talk business over a meal, come on it'l be on me""Are you sure? I can pay for it.""Am I sure?*laughs heartily* Sure I'm sure, I've got plenty and it looks as if you've got none. I can take a small loss in profit.""Thank you kind sir" He and I bartered pricing over dinner, and it was the best dinner I had ever had. In the end I had a great meal and left with enough food to last me a month.
You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:*listens to leader of party*"I'll volunteer. It's the least I can do to help this town.""What can you do?""I am an archer and can fight hand to hand if needed.""You're in. Any other volunteers?"Nobody else volunteered so it was just me and the town guard to fight them. It was a tough battle and sadly I had to shoot to kill, and we lost 2 people in that fight. When we came back the leader offered me the reward, I replied. "I cant take it, split it between the wives who lost their husbands back there, I cant take anything if there is suffering around here.""Thank you, one of the ones who were killed was my son.""May the gods bless and protect you""And you too kind sir" I walked away with the feeling of a job well done

DerpRage Gaming is setting up a RFW tournament to commence on august 1st. This tournament will be played on 5 maps Arcane Realms, Uncivil Eingineering, Hostilities Begin, Direct Fire, and Fields of Glory.
As usual with these tournaments each team will be of 4 people I will be hosting the server and you will be informed of the ip and of ways to contact me to use it for practice by july 1st the day signups end.

Have you ever been banned? tell us about it: i have been banned twice on the same server by a corrupt mod and i am quoting my servers owner here "he will be banned after banning every other mod and banning me if anyone unbans him they will be banned from this server" i know that isnt really being banned but i'm being truthful here
