I'm not sure if this idea has already been asked but what about adding Fallout's Rad system for food and water? This means that food and water would have a radiation level and when you consume it you will get x amount of Rads. After you get to a specific level you will start to get bad effects and eventually kill you. Also some water is actually radioactive and swimming in it causes the player to increase in Rads. However having on a hazmat suite adds Rad Resistance allowing the player to gain less Rads from swimming in radioactive water. A sanitizer and purifier can reduce or even remove Rads from food and water depending on how high the Rad level is. Adding in the ability to craft Rad-X will add Rad Resistance for a short time. Crafting Rad Away will remove x amount of Rads. All of this can be configurable allowing the setting for the amount of Rads food and water can have as well as if water is radioactive. Another config setting going by food and water bottle item names will allow players to set if food and water bottles has Rads and how much they have by default. This will allow mod pack makers that use other food mods to be able to set Rad levels for all kinds of foods and drinks.

I'm sure by now you must be thinking why I would want this? Well you see I actually have an idea for a Wasteland style mod pack however it's missing the Fallout Rad system to make it complete. This would also open the door for other Fallout fans that play Minecraft to be able to make Fallout role play servers even modded custom maps and so on. Anyways thanks for taking the time in reading this and keep up the good work.

Help! When I open my world, I get this crash report: http://pastebin.com/NbF80E2k. I tried to update forge, Bibliowoods, and I am using the latest version of Bibliocraft.

Downgrade Forge to build 1222 for some reason builds 1223+ break some mods and also breaks biome mods.

I was wondering if you could add an option or even an addon to this mod that allows food to have the Fallout rads system? This means that some foods but not all will have a rads value. After a collection x amount of rads the player will get negative effects that will last longer with each level of rads and if a player's rads are too high they will die. As stated before not all foods have this effect making them safe to eat but they can't eat them all the time do to the standards of this mod.

However the player can lower the amount of rads on food by crafting it with a sanitizer. The amount of rads that is removed can be set in the config. To remove rads the player can craft something like rad away using a golden apple and/or health and regen potions with other items. This will remove rads based on the quality of the items used. So for example crafting with a standard golden apple removes 20 rads where as crafting with the notch version removes 50.

Now you maybe wondering why I want this well you see I have played the wasteland mod and thought to myself that this would be great to use with it if only it had the rads system in place. So yeah that is my reason for asking about this feature.

For bibliowoods extrabiomes xl addon it does not see the extrabiomes wood types. All it shows is fire. I am running Minecraft 1.7.10 and have tried various versions of forge from the recommended for this mod and up to see if this would fix it and it doesn't. I hope that this issue can be fixed in the near future.

No problem always glad to help out a mod author when I can. I forgot to note that yellorite ore from Big Reactors also doesn't have a harvest level so it too is treated as stone. If I remember right it is listed as uranium for the forge ore dictionary so it needs to be added to Ardite mining level. I'm basing that mining level off of the settings for nether uranium ore from the nether ores mod. Sorry about forgetting to note this before I was just waking up when I first posted and it slipped my mind before. Anyways thanks for taking the time to look into this and keep up the good work.

I should specify a bit more sorry about that. You see right now the enchanting table can be mined with a flint pickaxe. This means that pickaxes and hammers sees the enchanting table as a stone block rather then an obsidian block. That is why I asked to have it changed so that way the enchanting table can't be mined by a player until they have an obsidian level tool.

Would it be possible to add a harvest level to enchanting tables? You see some dungeon mods have them as standard rewards and it makes things a bit too easy to obtain one in hardcore survival challenge type mod packs. Having a harvest level of obsidian would be very fitting of course this can be optional so that others that don't share the same feelings on the matter can just disable it.

posted a message on [1.6.4] Wasteland Survival Modpack (Now on Technic Launcher)
    UPDATE NEWS:

I will be working on the final 1.6.4 update of Wasteland Survival Tech. Release date of the final 1.6.4 build is hopefully by May 10th if no bugs are found in that time. I still have to wait for mods to update before I can start on Wasteland Survival Tech 2. I have plans to remove and add some mods to the next version of Wasteland Survival Tech as for Wasteland Survival NT I will no longer be updating it do to the lack of player interest. Wasteland Survival NT will still be available to play on the launcher but will no longer be supported at this time.

I would also like to note that when Wasteland Survival Tech 2 is released to please post all bug reports first on this forum page. More information about the new version will be released on this page when a privet dev build has been started in closed testing. Last I want to thank everyone that has been playing this pack and I hope you have been enjoying playing it as much as I have enjoyed working on it.

Hey guys, I have no idea of how Github works... Is There a way to get EE3 for minecraft 1.6.4 (using like a beta build or something) I dont mind that it can corrupt my world or somethign because i make backups everyday so... is there a way?

Yeah you can get EE3 for 1.6.4 Here: https://github.com/lluixhi/EE3-Builds/tree/master/1.6.4 click on the version you want. (latest build as of this post is 0.1.0.2) After clicking on the the version you want it will take you to a new page just click on View Raw and it will allow you do download the build you want. Also it might be best to get the Equivalecy addon by Lomeil12. He has worked hard to add extra mod support for EE3. You can get Equivalency here: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1792060-16xforge-equivalency-say-huzza-thermal-expansion-3-and-equivalency/

Note you will have to make the Calcinator and Alundel and a glass bell. You will need to cook 8 diamonds or emeralds in the Calcinator to get 8 minium dust. Next put 8 minium dust in slot 2 and the inert stone in slot 1 in the Alundel and use coal or any other fuel type to start the infusing process to make the minium stone. To get the Alundel to work you will have to place a glass bell on top of it. The glass bell is where items will get sent to when the infusing process is complete. Other items can be broken down into dust in the Calcinator and then used in the Alundel to infuse other items. I'm letting you know the basics because the recepies that are used in the Calcinator and Alundel are not yet supported in NEI so you will have to figure out what you can use to make dust for infusing.

I LOVE WASTELAND! And with all these mods it would be even MORE AWESOME! Thank you! Downloading them all also! It taking 8 minutes to download them all. I need help putting all the modpacks in the right place

Can I put all of the modpacks in one .minecraft folder?

Make sure you watch the video by Direwolf 20 under the how to install section. You will want to place the config and mods folder in a folder. If you combine the folder from each of the packs it can cause compatability issues between mods and mod versions. So installing one pack per folder is best. That way you won't have problems.

It's been some time since my last update. I took some time off of working on the packs till mods updated and to take a break. Now that mods are updated I'm going to be working on Tech v3 and NT v2. No new mods will be added but I will be doing some testing before the packs are released. Until the update enjoy the current versions and I'll return again soon with a complete update of both packs.

posted a message on GotoLink updates: Formivore's options (2015/08/01)...
Found some bugs with the Level Up! mod.
Mining ores added from other mods doesn't add xp or double the ore drops but mining vanilla ores does.
Digging only gives you treasure drops from vanilla soils and not from ones added by mods.
Smelting doesn't increase speed, double ores from mods that add more ores and doesn't effect added furnace types.
Archery doesn't effect arrows or bows added from mods.
Cooking doesn't work for some mod related foods and extra furnace types.
Farming causes berry bushes from natura to grow infinitly instead of the max 3 high by 3 wide, and causes ender lillies from extra utilites to uproot instantly because it thinks bonemeal is being used on growth check.
Woodcutting causes trees added from mods to drop vanilla planks rather then the planks the mod related tree creates.

It might be a good idea to have the mod search the forge oredirectry for added ores and tree types.

1.6.4 builds now released in two version Tech and No Tech. The Tech build is an updated version of the pack from 1.6.2 Note that bugs may still be around so make sure to back up your worlds when you update to Tech v2. If your going to play the No Tech build make sure to make a new world do to mods being removed for that build. Please see the modlists and changelog for more information about the new release.
