    If you use WAILA, it will show the component address in the tooltip. For the analyzer, you may need to shift-right click on blocks with inventories.



    Not use what WAILA is, and the analyzer doesn't do anything when shift rightclicking the disk drive.

    How do I get the component ID of a disk drive?


    I have a server that's connected to several doors via redstone I/O blocks. There will be three levels of access. Each door's info is stored in a table. A disk drive, connected to the distant server by cable, is beside the door. When I input a "key" (a floppy drive that's authenticated as level 1", it will open the door.

    Problem is, I can't tell which disk drive it's in. When I have several doors, I need to know where the key is located, so that I can open the correct door.

    Attempting to use the Analyzer to obtain the disk drive block component ID will just open the inventory of the drive.
    Each disk drive is just labeled "filesystem" in the list of components, therefore it's a complete guess as to which filesystem is the
    disk drive.

    How do I obtain the component address of the disk drive?

    A 5-10 FPS increase would be amazing, though. It would definitely provide a more stable framerate.

    Runs on 25-ish FPS for a GTX 750 Ti on Ultra with anti-aliasing off.


    Very well done! Some more optimizations still need to be made, though.

    There really needs to be a knowledge base for this game, so that solutions found to issues won't be lost amongst thousands of pages of "help it lag on laptop ): ): ):"


    Would also help the humble helpers who dedicate some of their time to assisting us, as they wouldn't need to write out the same answers over and over again and instead just link to the solution.


    Also, just curious, could the shining enchantment thing be a bug with Windows 10 and/or 1.8.9?


    I Google searched it and this is a widespread issue, but nobody could figure it out.

    It's what happens in your game. It appears green when lit up since it was bluish/green to begin with.


    Can't remember what caused this in the first place. Is that a vanilla or mod added sword? Any resource packs?


    I'm playing on a vanilla server with minimal plugins, and I do not have any resource packs. The same issue occurs on singleplayer.

    The only modifications to my game are this mod and optifine. I don't run forge or any other mod loader, and I'm running on a clean install.

    Grimallq, are there any known issues with enchanted items turning green when near a lightsource? I attached the images showcasing the problem.



    If it helps, I had recently upgraded to a GTX 750 Ti from a 1GB integrated Radeon. The installation was clean, no leftover drivers, but some games such as Skyrim had to be tweaked to work with the new GPU. I'm not sure if Minecraft auto-detects GPU configurations or if it takes the lazy route and detects the config once, writes it down, and never re-checks.

    I had NOT installed any shaders mods or even Optifine before the GPU upgrade.


    Specs:

    8GB RAM

    CPU: AMD A8-7600 Radeon R7, 10 Compute Cores 4C+6G (4 CPUs) ~ 3.1 GHz (Christ that's a long name)

    GPU: Nvidia GTX 750 Ti 2GB VRAM

    Monitor resolution: 1600x900


    (I apologize if this is a known issue and I'm wasting your time, I manage a mod of my own for a different game and I know what it feels like to answer slight variations of the same questions. I tried to use the search function to the best of my abilities, but it was just pages upon pages of people trying to run a freaking ENB on an integrated GPU or mac.)

    Press escape, go to options, go to shaders. Switch off the cloud shadows by clicking CloudShadow:on


    Unfortunately, this didn't have any effect on it.

    Might I add, some light sources are super damn bright (such as glowstone) in contrast to the rest of the world.

    I'm having this same issue with a GTX 750 Ti. I'm on Optifine 1.8.9 HD_U_G9 and Seus V10.1 Ultra DoF. Trying to use the search function was like banging my head off of the wall as I had to sort through tons of people repeating "y no work on intel HD 4000? it say HD on frint!" and I gave up.

    It's similar to how people that use my mod constantly ask the same damn questions. Yes, that feature is planned! No, I can't do anything about that! Why are you running on Windows 97? Gah!

    Anyways, rant over. Could you kind chaps help me out?

    It's funny how programs, games, and tutorials that are supposed to teach coding taught me nothing, but screwing around with bits of code in a Minecraft mod taught me tons. Thank you very much for this mod.

    Running 1.6.4, this mod crashes me on startup. When I disable the mod with magic launcher, the game starts up fine. I am running the latest forge (9.11.1.65).

    I know that particular error has been posted on this thread before, but the answer was to get the latest forge, which I have. I don't have any other mob mods other than Morph. I don't know if this could be caused by the remains of some mods, as I had to reconstruct my old mods folder as accurately as I could when I forgot to copy instead of move my mod backup after using my friends server modpack and ended up deleting my own mods by accident. The only mob mods that I know he had were MCA and this mod. I made sure to clear out the configs and mods when I was going to use my own private modpack again instead of his.
