posted a message on Splinter Wood in Minecraft

    Hey Guys!

While playing singleplayer, I recognized that I get very much sticks in variant ways, which leads me to throw tons of them away each day. I thought that you could craft splinter wood with sticks, by just laying them down on the crafting table 3x3 to craft one unit of Splinter Wood.
The Splinter Wood can then be used in variant ways, for example crafting a Door / (Book-)Shelf (regard my other thread about Shelves: Changes on Bookshelves) / Crafting Table etc. or heating up the furnace.

Also, the Splinter Wood can be polished (in the same way you polish Diorite etc.) for a nice looking floor.
In Summary, the Splinter Wood is a replacement for Wooden Planks if you have more Sticks than you should.
Relatable to the real life, Splinter Wood is also used to construct stable things.

Let me know what you guys think of that idea!

posted a message on Changes on the Bookshelves

    Hey Guys!

I recently got a new idea for Bookshelves.

I thought that you can instead craft Shelves without books and then place in like 3-6 Books in it. The Crafting for Shelves would be like Bookshelves (but without the books, ofc). Though, you might place Enchanted Books in those Shelves, so if you're using them for the Enchantment Table, you can increase the chance of getting That enchantment (from Enchanted Books in Shelves) in your Weapon/Armor/whatever.

In Addition, you could use those Shelves for decoration. Therefore, you can also put in Flower Pots or Cacti.

How are you guys thinking about that?
