posted a message on Strange texture bug.

Alright, so at times, when I load up a world or enter someone else's, I get a massive lag spike.

It makes sense, with my mods, but the thing is that WHEN that lag spike ends, the textures are glitched to the point where it's unplayable.

I need to restart MC to get it fixed, and even then, it can glitch again.

I'll leave a pic of the title screen post-glitch.

Yeah, like, seriously, can you even IMAGINE all the floor patterns you can make with these? Besides, they're not so bright they're out of the ordinary, if you want that look at the Cement blocks!

An idea that COULD be done is making the data stay in the file, but not be used in previous versions so it's not deleted when it goes back.

    Maybe.

    I don't know.

Or Firework Rockets could be crafted with Sticks so they can be launched similarily to Snowballs, but more slowly.
The "Rocket on a Stick" sprite could be like this:

That actually sounds reasonable. You would have to calculate your shot so it doesn't go right past the enemy, but it would be usable offensively.
    Good idea!

posted a message on Nether Invasion

Sounds like quite an interesting feature.

An invasion event would really help spice up the gameplay, and add a bit more variety to the Nether.

A bunch of mobs coming through the portals and attacking you as revenge?

    Pretty exciting.

But there should be some sort of block/altar (another use for Nether Stars? c;) that you can make and place to stop the invasions from happening / "calm down the nether"

    Full support.

Except for that part that ghasts attack passive mobs, that's BS. We want our animal farms alive :)

No support, too fantasy-like, not fitting to MC.

The fantasy dimension isn't a thing that should be added to MC.

It's the thing your brain is in.

Not everything that sounds cool will get added.

Please try to consider balance and MC's low-tech/medieval theme when making suggestions.

    Happy suggesting! ;)

Fireworks deal quite a bit of damage, and controlling them to go to the ground is already possible. (Here's a few methods: https://gfycat.com/SimilarPerfectJackal https://gfycat.com/DopeyTartGoa) You can use blocks to block their way or come up with a sort of "Cannon" to launch them sideways, which is already a thing: https://gfycat.com/PerkyMindlessFoxterrier

Either way, I feel harming potions take the toll as "dynamite" or "Ground fireworks" since it's essentially the same thing. Besides, fireworks are... Well, fireworks. They go up in the sky and be pretty. It's just how they are. Now they just kind of hurt when the glitter smacks you in the face. These new methods to make them weapons are just using them unintentionally. Which isn't bad, but there's no need to change fireworks just to associate that.

    Hm.
    Good analogy.
Yeah, splash potions are quite useful.
Maybe the price could balance it a bit.

"there's no need to change fireworks just to associate that."

I didn't mean to change them, I just meant to add another... Effect.
Aside from the duration, another factor of the firework could be... if it actually flies or not.
But even if it weren't used offensively, ground fireworks would be quite good-looking.
    :)

posted a message on Cooking / Smelting update

    This sounds pretty useful.

Not having to grab blaze rods from a farm, cook logs, grab lava, yadda yadda yadda, all while adding another use to nether stars?

    Also, the Redstone Furnace.

Faster cooking sounds like a really good addition, though a furnace like that wouldn't really fit the low-tech theme of MC.

posted a message on [1.11.1] A tag that makes it so that fireworks don't damage mobs (for map-making)

No support, since empty fireworks (fireworks without a star, only available using commands) do not hurt mobs or you when you fly with them. I like the idea, though.

Actually, no-star fireworks can be naturally made.

posted a message on Grounded Fireworks/Dynamite

    Hi.

    I've seen the new snapshot.

It brought a lot of new changes to the table.

It was a really good snapshot, with Sweeping Edge, real flight, iron nuggets, etc.

But the thing I'm focusing on isn't any of that.

    Let's talk fireworks.

Now in the new snapshot, they made fireworks do damage, aside from their usual aesthetic use.

    But here's the thing.

Fireworks fly upwards, as you would expect.

What if you could use some sort of item in the firework recipe to make it fall?

A firework-based weapon would be a very interesting and useful addition.

And oviously, you could give the dynamite special effects, since it IS basically a firework.

    Now about the crafting.

I think string added to the usual firework crafting would make sense.

Heck, maybe even add string and remove the gunpowder! The firework star is the explosive part after all.

Or you could add a heavy item, like an gold nugget/ingot to the firework recipe, and just make a firework that falls.

    Anyways, that's enough about that.

Fireworks have a lot of potential.

I believe that they can be used offensively, and MC has needed an explosive weapon for some time, so...

I'll leave that up to you.

    Peace.

I've just downloaded the Curse launcher.

Sky Factory 2.5, Install, logged in, Play.

The blue bar loads, then nothing happens, and the button stays like...

    Launching...

I've looked up a fix, which was changing the Executable part to to C:\Program Files\Java\jre7\bin\javaw.exe, but nothing happens.

    Can somebody help?

It's a bud effect, you need to do something to "delay" the signal. If you can get something in there to slow down the deleting of the block, or do a different system it might do the trick. A screen shot of the setup might help us figure it out if you can't get it to work.

    Block 1: /execute @p -285 111 859 /testfor @p[r=1] {Inventory:[{Slot:-106b,id:"minecraft:gold_nugget",Count:1b,tag:{display:{Name:"Llave Violeta"}}}]}
    Block 2 (Conditional): /setblock -285 110 859 redstone_block
    Block 3 /testforblock ~ ~ ~2 repeating_command_block 2 {SuccessCount:0}
    Block 4 (Conditional): /setblock -285 110 859 lapis_block

I don't know what bud effects are, so... there you go.
