So IGN (a company with ties to Minecon and many Minecraft YouTube players, such as Coestar) got a guy that was already a fan of Minecraft (he's obviously been playing for months) to tell everyone why Minecraft is awesome.
Yeah, that's an objective review.
the review i think was still accurate, you play your own story in minecraft and he made that point clear, he also cited the biggest weakness of minecraft which is that you need outside sources to really understand the game
Dunno bout the leaves falling off tho...while that would look good for any trees with branches, the ones that don't have branches will be reduced to a just a pillar of wood, which would look very odd, especially considering that branchless trees are the most common type. Also I'm not sure how easy it would be to code in the regrowing of the leaves when spring hits.
Think it would be better to just have the colour change again.
how about instead making it so the leaves turn white in the winter time? That would be easier to do and would still look good. All the trees exept for pine would turn white in the winter, same with fall, all the trees exept pine would turn golden.
in winter, how about blizzards that instead of spawning snow (the thin, generated type)on top of existing blocks, it spawns full on snow blocks (the ones crafted out of snowballs)instead? Basically it would be like heavy snowfall that buries crops and covers lakes and rivers, as well as make the need for you to shovel snow
also, as said above, leaves should fall/die starting in the fall, and by winter, only pine trees should have leaves on them, the others would be bare( only wood) by spring the leaves will grow back

I think its fair, the reason it got 9.0 is because there is no tutorial or anything, you need outside sources to really understand minecraft

i dont think this would be a nerf really
i said sunlight only, so they can still wander into your torchlight
and that means that in the mornings, just like how the surface is populated with creepers and spiders, caves will be full of endermen

he was also never afraid of water

They are creatures of the night, therefore they shouldnt like sunlight
So whenever the sun comes up, they teleport underground or into the nearest cave, or mineshaft, or dark parts of your house >:]
