I was in a McDonalds one time a couple of years ago, behind this guy with a very heavy, what you would call, Texan accent. He was trying to get one of those supersize deals they dont offer up here. The cashier at the front tried very hard to explain that its not offered in Canada, but the man and his wife wouldnt have it. They believed McDonalds was operated the same around the world and could not understand that the supersizing of meals wasnt popular outside the US and wasnt offered. He yelled and hollared at what I believe to be either the Assistant or Manager of the McDonalds before storming out with basically a free extra meal instead.
Now to my understand, the idea when Americans go abroad is that when they dont comprehend/understand or dont like something, they simply get louder and while I found that was a misconception, being in the States in Florida a year later (at Disney World) actually showed that this is actually a very accurate stereotype. (I dont mean to say all Americans are like this). SOME Americans are simply rude by nature. THey believe they are entitled to be served whatever they want whereever they want and when they dont get it, they make it known.
It seems you guys are just used to living in a country where the average person is rude to one another. This is coming from a person who lives in a country where at a stop sign you and another lady spend 2 minutes offering to let the other go first.
I know a few Americans who are a pleasure to be around, but it seems the average American is a rude bigot.

There's no reason to fight hunting. It's a necessity. However, it is important to regulate it. We have developed weapons that can kill **** from several yards away with ease. We've made killing easy. Almost a casual affair. So we could very very easily decimate entire ecosystems if we put our minds to it. It's about finding a balance. We are a very powerful species, and responsibility is key.
