Howdy folks! Aura Fury is proud to be hosting a InfiTech 2u: Fear the Night Server! Many in the community are ready to return to this gregtech 5u hardcore balanced pack. Aura Fury is running an awesome event to show case the works of multiple players across our servers. There will be streams from our vanilla server along with 2 modded servers running Sevtech Ages and Direwolf20 on 1.12. We also have 2 streamers show casing their world from the modded pack Infitech 2u: Fear the Night on 1.7.10.

server spawn will be moving in order to provide some new resources. Be sure your spawn is set because it will be moving a few thousand blocks

The server launch is tomorrow Feb 5th at 5 PM EST. Please update your client before then and test to make sure your client can launch a single player world to reduce the chance you have issues at launch time. The admins would like to play versus do tech support at launch time

the invite to the group will come back via the email address you provide so be sure to check your email. Some players have reported that the welcome email goes to spam so be sure to check there too

due to the twitch/curse launcher ownership changing and FTB dropping 3rd party support the update is stuck in limbo. If you want the most updated version of the pack it is now available through the technic launcher at: https://www.technicpack.net/modpack/infitech-2u-fear-the-night.1810665
Please be aware that I have removed GT++ and Agricraft. I also now have the backup mods off by default since many play on servers for this pack. If you want to keep playing with GT++ and Agricraft you will need to add those mods back in

the pack can now be downloaded from the technic launcher here: https://www.technicpack.net/modpack/infitech-2u-fear-the-night.1810665 I am currently working with curse to update the other version so that the updated version is available on that launcher as well as the GDlauncher.

new update is coming soon. Looking at some minor mod changes. Our website also changed to aurafurygaming.com if you need to report any bugs. Thanks everyone who has continually played this pack and keep reporting info for me to improve the pack

You may be interested in the Aura Fury Community where I play. Were an 18+ community that runs a Fear the Night Classic minecraft server. Theres players online everyday and we are planning a city build project after we all get settled. We all enjoy chatting on the server too. I think you would enjoy it here

Aura Fury is welcoming new mature players to our friendly community. On top of being a survival server we do community projects from time to time. We will be starting a city build project soon after everyone has a chance to get started. The server has only been up for a day so the world is very new!

yeah that can be super tough to do. We had a host go bankrupt on our community once and we lost a mid-evil city build we were doing. It get be hard to get motivated again after such a lose

The OP was asking specifically about the two processors listed. Minecraft is not going to use the 36 cores/threads or the 16 cores/threads for that matter, the higher frequency of the i9 9900k is most likely going to win out.
